For only 550 THB per night you can't beat the lodging experience here. We stayed in a modern tree house cabin amidst the forest and enjoyed a truly rustic experience. Our room included a large bathroom with running water and a warm shower and a comfortable bed and air con. I didn't like the running water/toilet water was recycled because the water was incredibly brown but we eventually got used to it. Our tree house included a comfortable patio deck which allowed us to view the nature around us. We only saw one other group of customers which made the experience very quiet and private. Plus we had a lovely and delectable breakfast which was included as part of our stay.

We spend only one night, we enjoyed the place a lot. Friendly and supportive staff. Excellent food. Nice location. We slept on a treehouse. Great experience. Very cosy restaurant. Good cocktails at reasonable prices. We missed a good bottle of wine.

I had friends visiting from the US and one of the things I always love to do is to take my friends up to the Khao Sok Paradise Resort right on the edge of Khao Sok National Park. I contacted the owner Eric and he put us in a three person three bed newly built bungalow right near the restaurant. The new bungalows have outdoor showers/ bathrooms which are really cool and the very large bungalow has a queen and twin bunk beds. It was perfect for the three of us. The staff arranged for us to float down the river on inner-tubes for three hours all the way to the bridge at km 102. I have been doing this float for over 30 years now and it is still magical. Most people only float for 35-45 minutes so when you stay in the water and continue on, you leave the people and noise behind. There is lots of wildlife, mostly birds, monkeys and snakes (gold ringed cat snakes are beautiful and pretty common) and it's easy to get close to kingfishers. We also drove out to the dam overlook and to a suspension bridge just near the dam. We didn't have time to get out onto Cheow Lan Lake this time. Next time. It's a real treat. The food was fantastic and the staff are very helpful and kind. The beer is cold! Highly recommended. Eric from Belgium is a great host and full of knowledge about the area and it's wildlife. We'll be back! Thanks again, Eric, see you soon.

We only stayed here for one night. The bungalows were super clean, cute, and comfortable with really thoughtful touches that mixed both a traditional and contemporary style. The staff greeted us with huge smiles and were very accommodating. The outdoor bathroom in the bungalow was one of the coolest I've seen in Thailand so far. The only downside is the pungent, invasive mildew smell. We understand that the climate is tropical, but it was hard to ignore.
