The red lion in Blewbury is a now a good place to go again . Good food and on the cheaper side . Not as good as the old sweet olive when olivier and Stefan used to be there but a place worth visiting . Shame the wine list is very average but they have to buy their wine with...

I have eaten here 4 times now & the food has always been exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they are all so friendly and chatty. The children's menu is superb - I have a 7 year old & a 3 year old and they both love going here for their 3 course meal (£10) -...

My fiance and I decided to book a weekend away and we found this online. It was a bit confusing arriving in the dark as all the lights were off (but this was due to the kitchen/pub bit being closed.) The gentleman looking after us was lovely and very helpful. The room that we were staying in was very clean...

First visit to The Red Lion Pub & Kitchen. Aboslutely great bistro-style food in a pub setting. Very attentive staff and great value for money. Only let down by the pub being a bit cord and very few diners on a Wednesday night. Would highly recommend!

We were staying in Oxford for the weekend for a spa break, but decided to have an extra night and booked into this inn the night before. Situated in a lovely little road with thatched houses, the pub itself was a gem of a find. We paid £60 for a double room which was clean, comfortable and included a delicious...

We stayed overnight, although we didn't have an evening meal as we were visiting family. We were warmly welcomed both in the car park and reception and shown to our exquisite room. The red lion is a true historic English pub with genuine olde worlde features and charm together with modern spacious accommodation. Our breakfasts were delicious and it seemed...
