I stayed at the Posada Salentein last week. I was somewhat surprised that the rooms were so far removed from the winery and reception center, and to me they seemed somewhat isolated. While the room itself was perfectly fine, the dining facility was nothing to write home about. If you are looking for a VERY quiet place to stay, you...

Great place to stay. I wish they had explained at the start what was on offer and included in the price e.g. wine, meals, horse riding etc. By the time we found out it was too late. Anyway, this is a great place to stay for 2-3 days of indulgence and relaxation. Make sure you have lunch in the Bodega...

We stumbled across this place (read: we didn't have it on our radar in our pre-travel research) as we were looking for a place to stay in the southern portion of the Valle de Uco at the last minute after wine tastings. I am surprised it isn't higher ranked. Likes: the grounds, buildings/rooms, restaurant/food and service. The opportunity to do...

The winery is in a beautiful peaceful setting. I think it's worth visiting the winery, but I wouldn't spend more than one night at the hotel (in fact, I wouldn't stay there again at all). The rooms are very bland, the beds are extremely hard and small (two single beds put together). I had a horrible sleep and checked out...

We didin't know what to expect and were overwhelmed by the kindness and caring attention that we received. "No" was not in their vocabulary and everything was done with a big smile!! Pablo, the manager, Fabian, Facundo and the rest of the staff made our stay a wonderful experience. The food and wine were delicious and plentifull, served in the...

The pousada is great; gorgeous location; beautiful property; wonderful wine. However, service is slow and rather ineficient. Everyone is super nice and smilly, but not much gets done; we spent 3 days, asked front desk to inquire about day trips and reservations to wineries (you cannot get anywhere worth it whithout a reservation), and nothing got done. Finanlly, we managed...

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect location with great food and excellent wine! The staff was very kind and made our stay fantastic. Rooms and beds are good. Please rent a car so you can explore the beautiful area.

The best thing about this place are the wine and food. But Salentein has not given much thought to the hotel side of their business. Our reservation requests by e-mail went unanswered for a week. After a phone call from Europe, it turned out that a room was indeed available. But once there, I felt as if we had been...

We stayed at Posada Salentein for 3 nights over Christmas in Dec 2009 as part of our honeymoon. We arrived on Christmas eve and I had emailed in advance to find out what was happening in terms of food/entertainment etc. We were told it was going to be a 'special meal' as in Argentina, Christmas eve is celebrated more than...

In April we spent 3 days at Posada Salentein. It is a lovely place, location is rather remote but pituresque and it is a good place to relax, go biking or horseback riding or to visit one of the many wineries. Guests do get a free tour of Bodega Salentein, a beautiful winery, certainly worth to visit including the Art...
