My husband, sister and I got two rooms here in August for our planned genealogy research visit in Glenfarne. The staff was friendly (Mary is the hardest working lady!) and the rooms clean and comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner there the four days during our stay. Meals were good, but you need to get to the dining room for... More

We used this family run B&B on our way to visit relatives in the west of Ireland. The downstairs bedroom at the back of the property was quiet, the bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom adequate. Breakfast was superb! All this for a very reasonable price...looking forward to visiting again.

I'm Irish. We stayed here as a base for our meal at Neven Maguires Macnean house for our parents 40th wedding anniversary. Jim the owner met us as we parked and knew our names and shook our hands. A lovely welcome. He remembered the champagne I had ordered (in the additional notes on a third party online booking service) and... More

Every time we travel south and pass Clancys we stop for food - all home cooked and delicious as well as very reasonable, with lovely staff and very relaxed. Haven't stayed but wanted to show appreciation for the food.

So many guest house owners in ireland thaink that they have the skill to undertake their own interior decoration. Clancy's is very tasteful, with good quaity furniture. I stayed tow nights ina ground floor room. One could complain of lack of privacy in a ground floor room but i didn't mind as i was our all day. We stayed fro... More

Honestly, the best guesthouse I have ever stayed at!! I am not one for writing reviews, however, such was the enjoyment of our stay, I thought it only fair that I do!!
