Great hotel in castle. Food was excellent ! Had the junior suite, which is really romantic when you are with two ! I'm definately coming back here when I can ! Staff is very friendly. Close to exit 32 on motorway A75 between Clermond-Ferrand and the south of France.

I had not realised when booking that there was the main building and the 'Orangeris' rooms, displaced from the main building. The main hotel and reception is magnificent, the outbuilding is not of the same level of opulence. Our room, up 2 flights of stairs was clean and bright. Too bright as the afternoon sun had increased the temperature somewhat...

The ambiance is great - in a modernised chateau. We were given a large disabled room with an enormous en suite. The food was lovely, but we could not order only one course, only a minimum of three courses. Breakfast buffet was standard for a four star hotel, but there was no bacon when we ordered bacon and eggs, and...

This has to be one of the most original and memorable hotels - from the quirky but stylish modern décor to the parklike grounds complete with donkeys and goats.. Our large room n the main chateau was huge with in-room bathtub plus shower room . Again the interior design showed a real attention to detail . The restaurant served a...

Beautiful chateaux in a superb location. Decor is generally very tasteful and unusual. First impressions were fantastic. Welcome was very professional and friendly. We asked for sandwiches for lunch and although the hotel restaurant isn't open at lunchtime they were happy to make them for us. Our room was a good size and well furnished. The bathroom was huge with...

We took a little time to locate this from the main N/S A75 mountain motorway - but that's because we chose to get off the main road and meander around delightful tiny and quiet villages before asking a local to point us in the right direction (will read the website directions next time!) Atop a rural hill surrounded by fields...

Stayed at Chateau d'Orfeuillette for just one night, which was long enough. We had a room in the Orangerie, which was large enough and tastefully decorated, but everything was a little worn. Paint peeling, screws loose, two large holes drilled into the side of the vanity. The promised in room minibar was non-existent. You can hear traffic from the nearby...

Beautiful castle. There is a big garden, and it is nice to take a walk. The room is renovated recently and it is really modern and design. Of course the staffs are nice.

Stayed here for one night whilst travelling down to Northern Spain. Booked the cheapest room as I was travelling with my father so we need 2 room but we were upgraded to 2 wonderful rooms. Both the rooms were very different to each other but both were great. I found the bed very comfortable and loved the heated floor in...

We travel from Spain across France each year and had spotted this hotel by chance the previous year. It is located close to the motorway but far enough away from everything in its own secluded estate. Our room was huge and everything was beautifully presented. The staff were delightful and the food was outstanding - both in quality and value....

“The suite is very romantic!”

“As stated, we were in the Orangerie annexe. The main chateau rooms are much more expensive, but I suspect are a wonderful indulgence if funds are no problem. Nights and days blissfully quiet, save for the occasional jangle of cowbells. Idyllic.”

“There would appear to be a vast difference between the hotel rooms and those in the Orangerie. Suite luxe is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children (ask for extra bed)”
