I have come to see that a lot of the 5 Star resorts are similar in many ways but what set this experience out was our service from our butler. He was nothing sort of amazing, very well intelligent with the resort and its accessibilities, and very accommodating. He went above and beyond with his hospitality. Harry was amazing and would be the main reason we return.

Everything about our experience was fantastic. Dawar, our butler, assisted us with ensuring we had reservations for dinner and that we had opportunity to do social activities around the resort should we like; Laury the concierge was extremely helpful in orienting us to the property and taking care of any small needs we had (i.e. a fan for nighttime). Additionally, the Entertainment staff were fantastic - Cappuchino kept us laughing and engaged around the pool. At the buffet - the main dining area where we ate breakfast every day and lunch most days, Yaniris, Ginetto, and Maria were most hospitable and always remembered the small details - like that I work with hospitalized children. We went for a surprise wedding, and took our adult kids. What an amazing experience all around! Our villa had butler service - Dawar was so helpful!! From making sure that we had everything we needed, to helping arrange our activities, and helping us get around the resort, he was phenomenal. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The restaurants have a variety of delicious food and drinks. The pools are well laid out and have plenty of chairs. Poolside service was always quick and friendly (thanks José!). Unfortunately, with the “red tide”, the beach didn’t smell great, but the resort was excellent about cleaning up the seaweed. Spa is small but well-appointed. The massage therapists were very thoughtful and the massages were great. Our wedding was so gorgeous - well-organized and went off without a hitch. I can’t say enough good things about Sanctuary Cap Cana - we will be back!…

We had a few minor issues with a water leak in our room , loud music one night till 430 am but outside of this the staff was remarkable our butler Argenis was very knowledgeable and approachable with the issues and handled our room panning day to day or room needs that we’re not met, the resort remarkable food was can find your fancy but all in general good.

My wife and I spent a week for our 10 year anniversary at Sanctuary Cap Cana and absolutely loved everything about it. The Castle, where we stayed, was quiet and felt apart from the rest of the resort. We had our own butler, Dawar Cordero, who was amazing and did so much for us during our stay. Can not say enough about him and the Service as a whole. Rubi at the Bali Beds on the beach. Happy-Boy by the pool. So many others that were amazing, hard to remember everyone. The main part of the resort has beach access and 4 pools to lay around. They have golf carts that can take you back and forth from anywhere. There was tons of events each day and plenty restaurants to enjoy. We would recommend this place to anyone! Especially if you want a low-key, laid-back romantic getaway. We will be back!!!…

Sanctuary Cap Cana is 5 star from arrival to departure. We stayed in the castle section which provided a few extra amenities as well as a butler. Eric the butler made our stay extremely memorable and relaxing. We didn’t have to lift one finger! Eric made us feel like part of the family and took care of our every need. From reservations for dinner to having my shirt cleaned when a bird had an accident on it, and even helping me book a make-up artist for my wife for our anniversary. He and the other team members are what made the trip. We ate at every restaurant and never had a bad meal. Nelly at the pool made sure our drinks were never empty and our stomachs were always full. She went above and beyond for us too. One thing that goes unnoticed a lot is the people in the background, the maids, the room service delivery, and the team cleaning the beach. You made sure that every morning and night everything was picture perfect, clean, and welcoming. The small gestures of the fish blanket on the bed, having the TV set to English channels, the turn down service all made the trip so incredibly special to us. Thank you all! If you want an amazing time, go to Punta Cana. If you want the best time in your life, go to Sanctuary Cap Cana. The food and ambiance are beautiful but it is the people who make it amazing. My now fiancé and I visited Sanctuary in May. He proposed to me there! We had an overall fabulous time. There are so many things to do, it’s a beautiful resort and had amazing food/drinks. We loved the workers as well. Some of our favorites were: Felix at the pool, Oscar Meyer at breakfast, and Oscar the entertainer!! Highly recommend.

My husband and I had the most amazing time at Sanctuary. Everyone made us feel extra special. The service and experience start as soon as you arrive. Front desk, bell boys give you an amazing welcome. Frank our butler as amazing. Eliezer, Alix, Eloy, Manuel at the pool bar and Manuel at the steak house. Glory at the Casablanca buffet, Happy Boy at the pool And everyone else who I don’t remember there names treated us amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay magical. We will be coming back!!!

This was our first time to the DR and had a blast! The hotel was amazing and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Pools were clean and the barstaff were great. The trip was WAY BETTER thanks to staying in the castle and having Frank as our butler. He went above and beyond to make sure we knew what events were happening and we were having a great stay. Definitely recommend this resort thanks to Frank's service.
