The villa was top class. Infinity pool was sublime. Weather in April was stunning. Walks and views amazing. Wish we had found the food market sooner. Find the oldest building and you will have a great evening. Close enough to local village and beach to walk, hire a car and go anywhere.

We stayed here for our first visit with 2 other families after a recommendation by a friend. As soon as we arrived we knew it was a good plan to go there. As requested our villas were all next door to each other but they were far enough apart to be quiet and not overlooked. The villas are all furnished...

After our third visit we can say that St George's Retreat Village is truly special. Situated above Souda Bay, the views are fantastic and the site is an oasis of relaxation and calm (in September at least). The villas are spacious, well laid out and well equipped. The attractive grounds and the two pools are well maintained and Stefanos and...

This is our second visit and not the last. Stefanos and Roula are perfect hosts, providing a wonderful welcome pack of goodies, most homegrown and made. Also, impromptu breakfast treats, lunches and BBQ! The villas are on the outskirts of a quiet village but th views are amazing as are all the villas. Very clean, with all you need for a...

This was our second visit to St. Georges Retreat Village. Its an ideal holiday spot if you have young children. With only 9 villas on the site and two pools, one of which has a small baby pool, you're able to relax and often have the pool to yourself. There are plenty of local restaurants including a taverna which is...

Fantastic villa in beautiful grounds and Stefanos and Roula are great hosts. We had a totally relaxing and fun week and hope to be able to go back with friends. I almost don't want to tell people about it incase it gets booked up ;)

My family and I have very recently returned from the retreat and what a fantastic experience it was. Before and during the stay I cannot praise the accommodation, location and two wonderful owners enough. I literally stumbled across the village whilst trying to piece together an itinerary for visiting this part of Crete. The minute I saw the accommodation I...

We have just returned from St George's for our third visit. We love our visits. The villas are equipped to the highest of standards. We make good use of the bbq, buying meat in the local butchers. If your looking for a relaxing, family feel holiday this is the place for you. We will be returning again.

Picked at the last minute whilst we were travelling through Crete and so lucky they had room. Stefanos and Roula treated us like family friends rather than paying guests. The villa was built to a very high standard and had the most comfortable bed of our holiday. The views from the balcony were stunning. The pool was quiet and peaceful,...
