We stayed at Morritt's Tortuga for our honeymoon from April 14-20th. I was more than a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews here, but I'm happy to say that we have nothing but great things to say about our trip and the resort. Everyone we encountered was super friendly and went out of their way to make our...

First, this is the "quiet" side of the island. Very laid back and cozy. We stayed in room 4102 and it's the 1st floor 1 bedroom. There where 3 of us and it was plenty of room! Clean, full of appliances and silverware. AMAZING VIEW!! Secondly, We barely stayed in our room at all. There is tv but not much...

The resort itself is nice. We had a two bedroom ocean front condo in the Londoner which was newly renovated and was beautiful. We opened our patio door and where right on the beach! The palapas were abundant for most of the week but when the weekend before Easter arrived, the early risers saved the chairs as early as 7...

I would go back to Morritt's with out hesitation. You will need a car as Morritt's is about an hour from St. George and the airport. The food prices were a bit high but to be expected. There is a plaza across the street with a small grocery store that carries a lot, and a liquor store as well as...

Nice quite Location on the east side of island. About 1 hour from airport. We rented a car and drove ourselves. We stayed in an older room that was not renovated. Style looked like it came right out of the 70 's. Rooms were clean. During check in the counter person was very nice and helpful. There is no flexibility...

We stayed at Morritt’s on an exchange through Interval International. This was definitely below average for the level of quality we have come to expect through Interval. This is a great location for a quiet vacation, but the hotel facilities need some work. Morritt’s is on Grand Cayman’s east coast --- a 40-minute drive from George Town and 7 Mile...

Our 2BR(3BA!)townhouse had the best location. One of the biggest timeshare units we have been in. Full size bed in the 1st BR(with its own balcony) and 2 twins in the 2nd. Large living/kitchen/dining area. It was not renovated but nothing to complain about. AC worked great but we used it minimally(at nights @72deg) and managed to pay only $100...

Before coming here, we read the reviews and their website. We were looking for a resort that was more laid back than 7 mile beach. Its exactly what we expected! Theres three pools, two with swim up bars. Theres good snorkeling on the beach especially around the dock. Huge tarpon, tiger fish, and lots of others. Even saw a stingray....

We recently enjoyed a week long stay at Morritts Tortuga Club and Resort. This was our first experience in the Cayman Islands. Besides the sheer beauty of Grand Cayman, the East End is described as the 'quiet end' and really allowed us to relax and have a real vacation. We rented a car and found that driving on the left...

My husband and I (active early 60's) stayed hare last week on our first visit to Grand Cayman. We had a wonderful experience. Tortuga Club offers pool-side rooms within a larger resort owned by Morrits. Units in five 3-story buildings cluster around each of two pools, one children-friendly with a swim up bar and spa, and the other smaller and...
