We stayed here for just one night - we spent the night and then caught the ferry over to St. Barth's the next morning where we spent the remainder of our vacation. We chose this hotel because of the good rate and primarily because it is right next door to the ferry dock so we just had to get up...

We enjoyed this hotel. It is quaint, vintage 70's. The setting is gorgeous and the price is affordable. We stayed a couple days on either end of a cruise and the laid back, relaxed attitude was perfect. Everything in our unit was working and freshly painted. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked and the view from the balcony...

The place has been there for many years and it seems they have not renovated since their open. The front desk claimed to have "upgraded" my room - it's crazy to think what could have possibly been a downgrade from where I was. The hotel was not cleaned appropriately. It appears from the water damage on the furniture that the...

This wonderful place was created with a purpose. The ability to unwind and relax must have words in French but the impact is the same. We found it again this time, although the last time I was there the Captain was still with us. The property and it's people continue the traditions and it feels real good. I can agree...

Pros: Quaint village setting, Air Conditioning works, Cheap. Cons:The bed has springs sticking out, there are 2 lamps one of which shorts out. The ceiling fan is missing. The bathroom is disgusting. No hot water. The shower is falling apart. The shower door falls off. The maid makes the bed and leaves towels but does NOT clean. First day we...

(My profile describes I am from the U.K. I am actually from the east coast of the U.S.) After what we knew would be a long day of travel, we were looking for a relaxing place to spend one night. We wish we could have spent a week there. Captain Oliver's is tucked into the wonderfully quaint Oyster Pond locale....

This hotel has the best view of St.Martin. The staff is very friendly and flexible. The best rooms are 110, 111, 112 because you have a view of the harbour and ocean. They have as well a restaurant witg good food and ofcourse a great view. Next to hotel you have the ferry to St. Barth.

I will begin by saying "Don't stay at this hotel" nothing quaint or nice about it other than the 2 young ladies at the front desk who were as helpful as they could be with limited resources. I made the mistake of disregarding the negative comments on Trip Advisor and went for the inexpensive opportunity because our original plans were...
