All the good things that you read about this hotel are true. If you are going to St. Martin and are looking for excellent and affordable accommodation you need look no further than Sol Hotel. It’s not luxurious or filled with bells and whistles but it’s certainly a charming, clean and picturesque little hotel. A car is a must but...

My husband and two of our friends stayed at this small inn on the French side of St Martin for a night last month. The location was perfect and the rooms were clean & had a balcony with a great view of the Oyster Pond marina. We loved the fact that we were even able to walk to a nice...

We stayed at this hotel for just one night while awaiting a flight. What a value and a view. Friendly staff.

I read the recent reviews on TripAdvisor and selected the Sol Hotel because of it's location and value. My husband and I just returned from our five day stay and were delighted. The location is perfect for a quiet getaway. The room was clean and decorated with charm. Colette is warm and extremely helpful with recommendations for beaches and restaurants...

A nice small hotel in a pretty location, near the marina and several good restaurants. The owner is a nice lady who was both friendly and helpful. No TV, Good WiFi. Furnished Kitchenette. Try Momma Pizza just down the road.

We are just back from a sailing holiday in the FWI, sailing out of Oyster Pond, St Martin. We extended our stay by a couple of days at the Sol Hotel, only 5 minutes from the Marina and a real 'find'. It is elegant, quiet, simply furnished and with a lovely pool. We watched humming birds flit between the bougainvillea,...

My family (my husband and I, 3 adult children) booked 2 rooms at Sol Hotel and thought it was perfect for our week in St. Martin. No, it is not fancy, the kitchen is tiny and has no microwave, but the manager, Colette will give you extra pots/pans and dishcloths if you are actually cooking there (which we did, happily)....

St Martin was our first stop in our honeymoon and we chose Sol Hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews. The important thing to recognise is that Sol Hotel is not a big sprawling resort or star-hotel. Once you understand this, accept the positive and some negative points that come with this. Then everything will be fine and this is a brilliant...

We chose the Sol Hotel based mainly on TripAdvisor reviews, and on our taste for small, informal, affordable hotels and pensions. We found it delightful- modest, quiet, quite clean, and very well situated in a quiet corner of the island; it is also very close (walkable) to a nice little food/wine store and sandwich shop, for croissants and cafe au...

While the manager is very cordial, we found the facility less appealing than most other reviewers. We had booked our reservation months in advance, stated our arrival time and still the A/C was not turned on in our hot room until after we arrived. The kitchen was not as clean as we expected and there was no hot water or...
