We had a great trip through southern Spain. However, our trip to Granada was tough - the city was loud and busy and the hotel not the best. The same night we arrived in Granada we decided we have to leave the very next morning (sorry Granada, I am sure you have many things to offer but it wasn't for...

We loved this charming place set high above the village in the middle of largest olive growing area in Spain. The rooms are comfortable and clean with just a little extra authentic touch, such as a Federico Garcia Lorca poem stenciled above our bed. The young hosts are quiet and unpretentious and obviously love to share their surroundings and spanish...

We stayed at this hotel for three nights to attend a birthday celebration nearby. Davinia and Raoul were very warm and attentive hosts. They are very hands on, helpful, knowledgeable about the area and super enthusiastic. Generous, bio breakfasts in the courtyard were a real treat. ( Davinia's home made jams are delicious.). Coffee, drinks etc served in the cosy...

This is an extraordinary find; between Granada and Cordoba, in an interesting small town in beautiful surroundings. The place has been done up with such cool, relaxing style. Very classy, very quiet, but not pretentious in any way. The couple who run it work hard and are charming. The food they grow, make, and cook is superb and served with...

We were welcomed by the friendly owners. The hotel is very charming and the rooms are very nice, clean and big. There is living room, an outside terrace and pool. Wifi in the rooms is free. The breakfast is plentiful. They serve local (and home made) food, which all tasted very nice. The owners are very helpful with giving tips...

For the second time now we've stayed at La Era and it was, again, magnificant on all levels: not only is it worthwile to stay there for its superb location and spotlessly clean facilities with a thoughtfully balanced mixture between rustic and modern, but also due to its owners Davinia and Raul who are aiming with their hearts and energy...

I can't really add to the previous reviews, only to say that Davinia and her partner were lovely, had interesting suggestions for things to do and served a delicious breakfast. The place was cosy and beautifully decorated.

My husband and I stayed at Hospederia La Era in May 2015. Our room was bright and airy with cross breezes. We had a lovely view of the hills in the background. You couldn't ask for nicer owner/managers. I had an injury at the time and Davinia and Raul were so gracious in keeping my ice pack in their freezer...
