We were recommended this place by a fellow traveller we met a few days before leaving for Phayam. Long term travellers we always look for a bargain.. and we found it. 350baht a night for the older wooden guys at the rear of the property. We stayed 6 nights only due to our visa s ending. So, yeah the guys...

I can only speak about the restaurant as we stayed at another place, but I do not want to let our lunch experience in this place go by without comment: The beer we ordered was lukewarm and since they did not have any colder ones, they offered to bring some ice cubes. Not really a solution for a German, but...

They have a range of rooms. The houses on the side are rather expensive but look quite luxurious. The huts are cosy and they have great view to the beach (see image). The staff are very helpful. Food is not outstanding but good for a quick meal.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a fan bungalow for 850B per night. The room was comfortable with flush toilet and cold shower. A major frustration was the lack of 24-hour electricity which was only provided at night. No WIFI in the resort either. It seemed strange that no top sheet was provided for the bed and one was...

I moved here from the otherwide of the island after my friends had left. Got a beachside bungalow for 800 baht which is pricey - there are cheaper places to stay but it was easy for me at the time. The restaurant is shockingly bad. Guess they have a Burmese cook, I had an omelette for breakfast on the the...

Beautiful view from the restaurant as the sun sets. Feeling happy and relaxed until the food arrives. Close to the worst Thai food I've had. The Paneng curry arrives in a pool of oil. (Burmese cook perhaps?) The Som Tam is a strange pinkish color and has never come close to a chili pepper. And a 500 baht bill (when...

We chose the super cheap basic hut with two mattresses on the floor with mosquito net, fan and separate private outdoor toilet and shower. Perfect location, really nice common area and so sweet and helpful staff. For only 300 baht per night it was the best deal we could find :-) Also nice beach, and the small village very near...

the location is good, however you can find the same price with air-con. room amenities are not professional. The bar at night is dim but quite relax. Sofa-bed is nice for lover. Next door resort is more attractive.

The bungalows were simple, but nice. We had beachfront bungalows! They clean the rooms on request! The mosquito nets were new and really good. The service was wonderful. They were so helpful. The seem to have changed their attitude after having received bad reviews. Some minus points are that the bungalows are a bit overpriced, the food is quite expensive...

9 night stay in newer bungalow in Dec. All mid range places have seriously inflated prices in Dec to Jan. 1800 thb per night, not inc air con!! Lovely garden setting on best bit of beach for swimming, but Smile huts next door have same locale for 1/3 of cost. Bungalow was well furnished but mattress & pillows like rock,...
