Great spot to stay on Isabela at a steal price of $50 a night for a private room and bathroom. The private room is spacious with two huge beds and fresh linen provided plus a small chair. Huge windows opened up to allow fresh air to come in. pressurised water was excellent. The staff can't speak English, only the manager...

An easy 10 minute walk from the main area of town and beachfront. Very safe walk at night or early morning. Friendly staff and clean bedrooms. Hot water for the 2 days we were there, however wifi only worked outside at reception. Aircon worked very well! Breakfast was very fresh and cooked as we walked into the breakfast area- scrambled...

This option was recommended by a good friend, so we decided to stay there. It was nice, clean, had a comfortable bed, enough space and a/c in general was really comfy and cost effective if you don't want to spend too much in a hotel. It's location is not the best, but as Puerto Villamil is small town a little...

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. It is a budget hotel but has everything you need. Hot water, clean rooms, big comfortable beds and wifi. The family who own and run the hotel are very friendly and made us feel welcome. The dad of the family is a national park guide so it's fine to book...

The rooms are just what you need after a long day of snorkeling and walking. We got a huge, very comfortable double sized bed, quiet a/c, hot water (somewhat shifting, but what do you expect). You might be lucky and have wifi reception in your room, but don't expect it. Theres a common area up stairs with a comfortable sitting...

We have requested a room on the 3rd floor (no.9) well in advance worried the hotel will be packed. Beside us there was only another couple staying at the hotel. I will divide the review to two parts: 1/ the room - gets 5 stars, large room, large bed, nice, clean bathroom, spacious balcony, common area with TV on the...

Julio is amazing! When I asked about the room, Julio ended up helping us plan our whole trip! He bought a local flight for us, took us snorkeling, set up our boat to leave the island, pretty much organized our whole land based trip to the Galapagos (which is not an easy task). He went well beyond anyone I have...

Julio was our personal guide on a 7 day trip in the Galapagos March 2012. Julio travelled with us during our 3 Island tour with a very full itinerary. We hiked, biked, kayaked and snorkelled. We ate lunch on the rim of a volcano, snorkelled with sea lions, sea turtles, marine iguanas and sharks. We visited tortoise reserves and the...

Sula Sula is located at the farthest end of the town from sea, but the Villamil is so small that it does not really matter. The rooms are pretty basic with almost no furniture - hard to manage your clothes and stuff. Breakfast – standard continental, Elena (Julio´s wife) is baking the bread, so you can expect fresh bread every...
