The casa Delfines on the beach in the main part of town was tidy and clean and had hot water in the showers. The main part of the hotel faces the street and doesn't optimise their location on the beach but there is access and hammocks beach side. They could really improve by providing a nice space to sit beachside,... More

Right on the beach. Small, clean rooms with air conditioning, wifi, and a mini-fridge! The room we stayed in could use a little touch up (a bit of peeling paint and the windows were difficult to open), but they were in the midst of expanding. I wouldn't be surprised if the rooms will be painted soon. Yummy breakfast, made fresh.... More

This was the most expensive place we stayed on the Galapagos and although I loved the location, we could have stayed in a much cheaper hotel just behind and accessed the beach just as easily. The room faced the seafront, which was nice and it had good air conditioning. The owners were fairly helpful and the breakfast was nice. There... More

At a time when it was very hot in the Galapagos it was very nice to have a room with air conditioning. I had perfect view of the beach from my room and a little terrace area outside. The owner is very pleasant and made breakfast at different times to accommodate my schedule. It was a short walk from Poza... More

the best feature of the place - it's right on the beach, nothing is between you and ocean. The host is very friendly and caring. Hot water is in a limited supply (hot - cold {wait} - hot). Rooms have air conditioners but imho on a beach they are unnecessary

The place is basic but good enough if you are not looking for luxury. My room had two beds and a private bathroom. There is hot water and air conditioning in the room. They clean it every day and I have views to the beach. For me it could have a place for having breakfast looking to the sea instead... More

The building is right on the beach and has a big common balcony overseeing the ocean 180deg. The rooms and facilities are good to great, considering how remote this location is. The owner/manager genuinely cares about the visitor and helps to figure out what to do during the stay. He called tour operators for us, explained everything, chased down the... More

The location of The Dolphin House is excellent - directly on the beach and just a block from the center of town. Unfortunately, only a few of the rooms actually face the ocean. However, there is a large rooftop terrace for guest use, that while generally unfurnished - save for a few plastic chairs - provides stunning views. My ocean-view... More

“There are only a couple rooms with a direct view of the ocean. Ask for #6 on the second floor, or the Sea Lion room on the top floor.”

“The hotel has wi-fi but with a very limited range. It can be picked up near the very front of the hotel with the access code provided by the owners. For an ocean view, ask for the room in the back of the hotel. Just be aware that the 2nd floor terrace is open to all hotel guests which is part of the room's window view. Not all rooms have room air units, so you might request one if the weather is warm.”
