My sister and I called in for lunch at the at the Kings arms. We had a warm and friendly welcome and staff were very helpful. I ordered the steak and ale pie which was delicious with creamy mash and perfectly cooked broccoli. My sister chose the homemade fish finger sandwich which she thoroughly enjoyed. Our waitress was attentive and...

This Inn has so much going for it. The staff are friendly and attentive whilst being relaxed in manner. It's as nice as you would expect a 17th century coaching inn to be with cosy places to sit and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is excellent. The chef is clearly talented and takes great care in presentation as well as...

We were in Somerset on business and decided to extend our stay and booked the Kings Arms. What a find! The village itself is picture postcard, really like stepping back in time. The Hotel was just lovely. We had booked dinner that evening, the food was excellent, really outstanding. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The staff were all charming, relaxed...

We stayed in a Large Double which wasn't that large in truth but perfectly good. You have to bear in mind the age of the buildings and large rooms were not a feature in those days. Having said that the ensuite was very roomy, clean and well equipped with a separate shower cubicle. The bed was very comfortable. I thought...

We stayed here as two couples for a short break visiting the local National Trust properties and have enjoyed it so much that we are trying to organise a return trip. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the shower is excellent, the bed is comfortable by no means a given in hotels. The restaurant is sufficient reason to plan a return...

(Who just got a new puppy) Nice they allowed us to bring our dog in. Starter - black pudding and duck egg - perfect starter! Main - duck with potato fondant...
