A group of friends stayed last weekend. All the party commented on the superb food and friendly staff. We occupied 10 of the 15 rooms and everyone seemed content with them, especially the larger ones above the inn. Lovely touches with the furnishings. We had three nights there with lovely freshly cooked breakfasts and delicious dinners. The atmosphere is just...

My husband and I and our adult son stayed in the family room of this hotel and were pleasantly surprised at the overall standard of this hotel and it's food. We were made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and dinner was reasonable and tasty. The beds were comfortable, the towels thick and luxurious...

A beautiful hostelry in the middle of an old English village. The room was beautifully presented, clean and well prepared, perhaps a little on the small side (if I was to be very pernickety) but more than adequate for a few nights stay. The pub itself is lovely and well set out. The meals we had were superb and the...

We stayed just one night and wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was in the original building above the pub, where there were only 4 rooms (if I remember correctly) which were all individually decorated to a very high standard. Our bathroom was a little small but perfectly adequate. Both evening meal and breakfast were superb, great friendly...

Three mature couples from around the globe met here recently for lunch. The weather was glorious that enabled us to sit in the pleasant garden for an aperitif before our meal. Everything about this hotel/restaurant was excellent. We were met on our arrival by extremely friendly staff who went out of her way to check the extent of the gluten...
