Hotel was clean, reception staff were helpful, perfect hotel for a stop over. Bed was fantastic, big and comfy which was really important as I was only there to sleep. The hotels halls did not seem like they were aired and smelled a little.

regrettably, i didn't use a taxi but it is only about 3 miles so i would guess about £10. if you phone travelodge they will advise - such helpful & informative staff. Enjoy your visit, Stirling is a lovely old city.
