They only rent out the old part of the castle now-they used to rent out three converted barns, but not now. You rent out 3 floors. The first one is the grand hall - which is a sitting/tv etc room with a lot of fabulous... More
They only rent out the old part of the castle now-they used to rent out three converted barns, but not now. You rent out 3 floors. The first one is the grand hall - which is a sitting/tv etc room with a lot of fabulous history. And you also rent the next floor which is the bedroom with a huge kingsize bed/ensuite/kitchen/dining. Both rooms are huge and take up the whole floor from x3 sides of the castle. You also have access to the rooftop with fabulous views. The castle has a lot of history which turned out to be part of my ancestry-well worthwhile experience & the owners a terrific. They live in the front (newer part) of the castle.If you are interested in history its a great place to stay (complete with dungeon & much more.) Go for it......highly recommend
