Takes forever for Bonnie to come to the front desk. Way over priced drinks and the food cooked by a "chef" was dry, burnt or overcooked unless it was fish and chips (that was nice). They should run a fish n chip shop and not a hotel. People steal your stuff from the upstairs fridge. Blankets on beds etc are...

I met a work colleague at the Grand Hotel Helensville and we had business lunch there that was very nice - Fish & Chips and Salad. We ate outside in the Courtyard - it was very pleasant. I stayed the night in a queen sized bed upstairs that was very refreshing. I will come and stay again.

We stayed in a large family room that was very clean and quiet. The people in the bar were very friendly and interesting locals. The meals were large and good value. The kids enjoyed playing in the Courtyard and trying to catch the kittens

I organised a booking for a group of 14 guys on a golf trip. I spoke with Bonnie at least 3 times and emailed 3 times over about 4 months. The hotel has 12 rooms and most of our guys wanted their own rooms - so I arranged a total buyout. About 2 weeks before we arrived I emailed through...
