We had a great 3 days at Mersey River Chalets and Natural Retreat. Our daughter and grand-daughter joined us for 1 night and we had a great family outing. We had been upgraded to a large chalet from the small chalet as all the small one were booked. The 2 bedrooms were clean and very cozy. The main room was... More

We stayed in one of the chalets. Our 6 adult, 3 dog family had more then enough room to be confortable inside the chalet; when we were inside. But outside is where it's at! The walking paths, the canoes and kayaks that are just begging for you to take them out on the lake or river. The fall colours were... More

This is a great spot if you like the Keji area and want to try it out sometime without the hassle of camping. You can explore the chalet area itself, or you can drive 5 min down the road to the park entrance and check out Keji. Lots of wildlife and helpful staff. Be warned that Caledonia is quite far... My wife and I have been here by ourselves, with friends and with family over the past nearly 20 years. Have always come home fresh and relaxed. Priorities changed with arrival of grandchildren so have not been there in past few years, Just back from 2 nights, Forecast was for clouds and rain. We saw blue skies and sunny days.... More

2 couples stayed at Mersey River Chalet #4 Nov. 16 and 17, 2014. We were greeted by Cindy who was very informative. She gave us lots of information about hiking trails, the canoes, kayaks, etc. She took the time to outline on the map where and how long each hike should take. We knew we were in good ands after... We spent two nights here and I wish it could have been longer. The kids had such a good time. Our chalet was spotless, spacious, and had a well equipped kitchen. We were far enough so that we didn't have to worry that our children would disturb the neighbours. You can barbecue if you choose, or build a camp fire.... More

My wife and I decided to visit Kejimkujik Park, and we chose to stay at this nearby place. What a pleasant discovery this was! Nestled in a secluded area, it is a welcoming oasis and the hosts are very nice people. The chalets are super clean, with everything you need for a comfortable sleep and to make your own meals.... What a place! It's beautiful, rustic and extremely well maintained. There are lovely wooden paths going along the shores of the property with occasional chairs along the way. There are also kayaks, sporting toys and some books available (all free). Extremely beautiful and relaxing if you want something that is well hidden in nature. The only two cons are the... More

My friends just got married at Mersey River Chalets on Saturday, and I was VERY impressed with the venue. It is a stunning location, and all of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were great value for the money too! I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor ceremony with the perfect... More

My husband and I and two adult daughters were able to spend only one night rather than the three we had planned, because of disruptions caused by Hurricane Arthur. Even as they dealt with the challenges of getting things back to normal after the storm, our hosts, Tim and Andrea, were warm and helpful. The chalet we rented was very... More
