Recently visited St Crispin for a meal. Found staff very friendly and helpful. Place was clean and the vegetarian dish one of the best I've had for a long time, however what a disaster with the chips! They spoiled three out of four of the meals had there. They looked as if they had been re-cooked, (Hope they hadn't been...

Wanted to eat at another venue in the village but we were politely turned away as they had a function on! They directed us to St Crispin Inn We were starving as we had just walked 7 miles along the cliffs. The bar was almost empty....nice and quiet. Very nice bar man greeted us and promptly served our drinks. Orders...

Went for mothers day Sunday lunch Staff friendly , pub nice but the food was like eating a roast at a beano cafe , had to send all our Yorkshire puddings back as completely cold , roast potatoes were hard in the middle and deep fried , I was sure they were frozen but the waitress assured me they were...

Dear paulscottbrown Thankyou for taking the time to come to trip advisor and make your feelings known. I would like to take this opportunity in replying to your rather rude and inappropriate review. We served over 275 plates of food on Mothers day and you are the only ONE individual that seem to have a problem? I refer to your...

Found this place via trip advisor and immediately liked the look of it. We booked a table for two for Sunday lunch the day before and was glad we did as we would have been turned away as it was that busy! The pub itself is nice enough from the outside but it is immaculate and low key original inside...

We were desperate to find somewhere for lunch after searching in vain in Thanet (Kent seems to be very behind the times for vegetarians) and were cold and hungry. Came across the Crispin completely by chance and received a very warm welcome from the landlord and there was a lovely log fire burning. Excellent, very reasonably priced lunch. Premises clean...

I've been to the Crispin a few time and it has to be one of my favourite pubs. Great food the staff are always friendly and in the summer nothing is better than sitting out the back in the beer garden to enjoy a nice gun and tonic. Don't drive past it's we worth a visit.

me and my wife plus dog stayed in chalet room at st crispin for 2 nights 13 and 14 October. Good room. Staff were terrific... friendly and on the ball. Bar menu had good range of choices and cooked fresh and served in a real; cosy and friendly bar and restaurant. Parking easy and village lovely. We will stay again

We stayed here for a couple on nights, very nice place, clean and spacious room. The food was good too. The staff were very friendly couldn't do enough for you. The only down side was that the nights we stayed it was very hot and they didn't supply you with any fans, but would definitely go back

We were booked for 4 nights from 7th August, but only stayed one because it was so awful, and we didn't pay. We had the end chalet room, have stayed before and it went downhill, but thought under new ownership it may have improved - but it was miles worse. Checked in to find filthy stained carpet, dirty bathroom, loo...
