I’m working 15 years in restaurant business, and wanna say honestly, that everything was on the high level in this place. Island, villas, views, food, drinks and of course hospitality. Great thanks for all nice people who works there and create memorable moments of staying this beautiful place. Special thanks, for DjSanjeeva and all bartenders and waiters who works in beach club and Faluma restaurant.
What can we say? We miss this place terribly and we were so sad to leave this place. We went as a family of 4 (twins at 2 years of age) after a long flight, a short seaplane ride, a little van drive, a speed boat and a buggy ride we got to our over the lagoon pool room #813. We were amazed from the start, the whole welcome was personalised and made us feel special. Shout out to Melanie who drove us to the reception... who we got to know a little on our daily chats! Every single detail in this piece of heaven on earth has been thought out. The room was beautiful and you didn’t really need to leave for it had everything! Our daily nature walks for breakfast at the Dining Room, the Turtle Kids Club (we forget the ladies names but thank you so much for entertaining the boys!) we even cycled to the Sunset Beach Bar a few times! The laid back food and cocktails here was right up our street with views to die for! The staff were all so amazing and went over and beyond for us and made us feel at ease even though it’s sometimes stressful with 2 toddlers running around creating havoc! We enjoyed the ala carte style ordering at the Dining Room and with a mouth watering menu it was so hard to pick as the portions were generous! Shout out to Vignesh and his colleagues! You guys were so great to us- thank you! Thank you also to Fitri who kept our villa so clean- spic and span as it was forever full of crumbs frm the kids hahah thank you so much! And for my birthday flower and leaves and towel art decorations! Melanie thanks for organising the cake and wine too for my birthday, the boys enjoyed it the most :) We had dinner at LiBai and it was lovely. Again the staff went over and beyond to cater for the boys even though they kept demanding for nothing other than ice cream 🍨 We went to the Faluma French Fine Dining restaurant for my birthday dinner and the views were so amazing! As always it was rushed as we had the boys with us who have no patience haha, but the food was so delicious! We attended the cocktail party by the management on the sandy bay in the middle of the 1km bridge area that links both islands and had witnessed most beautiful sunset (delicious cocktails and finger foods) the management came across as genuine and keen to really know what you felt/ thought and how your stay was going so far. Everyone seems to know what’s going on and which villa you’re at so everything is super personalised. We loved this touch. We had to cut our stay short because of the Covid-19 situation and Melanie was constantly in touch with us to let us know what was happening: planned in terms of logistics to get us to the main airport, as the local seaplanes were also operating less frequently. We then found out we had to leave the afternoon the morning before our flight- which meant spending 18 hours in the airport with two toddlers! This is where this hotel truly impressed us. They sent two butlers with us to help throughout the journey(s) and stayed at the main airport until we made it on to our main flight back home. Not only that, they packed us a variety of lunch boxes, packed duvets and a pillow, and booked our the entire VIP Lounge just for us. (No locals hotels could be booked by tourists, they were starting to shut the islands down) we were so shocked and felt so blessed to have had that privacy and facilities as it meant the boys could rest properly before continuing the next day with 2 long flights home. It also meant that we were out of other people’s way with the boys running around and toys! So for this and this alone, we are so appreciative and thankful! It’s really difficult to put into words but having been to many all inclusive resorts all over the world, this is by far my favourite. I hope we can return soon when all is back to normal. Some photos- again does not capture this magical place in its true essence. You just have to go and experience it all.…
We had an amazing holiday vacation at The Residence, Dhigurah. Even during pandemic hotel provided such an excellent relaxing atmosphere. From the service, to the views, to the food - everything was just perfect. We all loved the bridge between the two properties, we went their everyday with our cycles & spent some time in the relaxing cool breeze. We will never forget the services of Chef Aneesh, always smiling & he tried his best to satisfy our pure veg indian preferences. We wanted to thank chef Aneesh for his great services on our last day but he was not available. He is a bliss to Indian guests. We choose all inclusive package & it was really worth it. The customer service was perfect. Everyone we encountered greets us and very helpful. One of the staff Gayan took us to Falhumaafushi, he gave his 1 hour, driven around the property & explained each & everything about hotel. Javier, dive center manager was also very dedicated, always ready to listen & resolve the issues. Ujjwal at beach house very keen to make new cocktails for us. Hotel Manager Sundaram is super helpful & professional he tried his best to manage our concerns regarding dolphin cruise trip. Overall, we had a wonderful time and look forward to future visits !!…
Paradise does exist indeed. From the moment we booked the hotel, till the moment we landed in this beautiful island, everyone was incredibly helpful and attentive to all our needs. Lany from reservations was always quick to reply and arranged everything without any delays. Javier from the diving center showed us a magical underwater world- no question that Maldives is for sure one of the best places to snorkel and dive. The staff in the hotel- what can I say. Beyond expectations. Everyone is extremely friendly, and super polite. Masks are worn by everyone, and also provided along with sanitizer across all the venues. Food is fantastic, specially the French restaurant in the pier- Falhuma. Top fine dining experience served by the most friendly people of all time. We stayed 10 days- half the time in a Beach Villa and the other half in an Overwater Villa. Both amazing, the rooms super comfy and always clean (service is provided 3 times a day if required). Sad our trip has come to an end, but we will for sure come back. Don’t forget to enjoy the bike rides across the islands, makes the experience in this beautiful island just that more rewarding. Thank you to everyone!…
On our arrival we were heart broken by the choice of food and taste. But Hafiz, Chef Sahil & Vignesh made sure that we were not anymore disappointed. Everything was perfect. Food excellent, villa super excellent, Services super super excellent. Do not miss the Falhumaa Restaurant its just purely amazing. All the staff there and at the Cafe Del Sol were gr8. Clarins Spa was icing on the cake. Book it before even you reach resort. I had booked it 10days before my arrival and i had already very few slots to choose from. Ashraf & Peyma were the gems of this place "courteous" & "polite". We were here to celebrate our anniversary but no Anniversary cake came to our room even when they asked specifically when did we wanted it. Overall a very good experience. Must Try. Will miss this place incredibly. …
