This place is completly isolated. No wifi, and almost nothing around. The owner is preety greedy. Not really helpfull and not really friendly, even if he seems so in the begining. I would not recomend this place to my friends.

We were staying at another hostel in Balgue when we were introduced to Fernando. He was eager to assist us with organizing tours/guides. When we stopped at Asi es me Tierra to finalize details, we met several other family members that run this property. The family was extremely genuine and accommodating in every way! You can feel the love that...

Spent one day at Asi Es Mi Tierra and everybody was extremely friendly and super helpful. Helpful with setting up guided tours. I would recommend staying here if you are in Balgue. Even if you stay elsewhere they can still set up guided tours.

The place is family owned and their friendliness is just so warm and nice, that you feel welcomed right away. The rooms and the whole area is clean, quiet and nice. You have your private rooms with shared bathrooms and also private rooms with your own shower/toilet. Owners are really helpful organizing your trips, scooters, transportation. Place is in really...

We were quite pleased with our stay here. Rooms are basic and shared faculties are as well. But the island is not very developed, so expect this is more places. The owners are a very nice and helpful family. They organised a hike for us without any trouble and for a decent price. The area is remote and quiet but...

Fine stay and friendly people. De place at the lake is great and relaxed. Big family and some speak English. If you want a tour to the vulcano you should walk a +\_1km towards Santa Cruz. There is a small signe saying tours en bike rent (wooden board with 2 blue mountains) and ask for Pedro. He is the standard...

We were with a group of 12 people, found each other on the street searching for a hostel in Santa Cruz. All were fully booked, so we ended up here. We had an amazing time! The rooms are basic but ok. Clean toilets and basic (cold) showers. If you walk down to the beach you find a little hostel bar...

we stayed here for our first 2 nights in ometepe and we loved it! We were picked up at the port and our room was simple but nice with a private bathroom - we paid $20 USD a night. Breakfast was large portions and the family that owned the place were so nice and helpful. The best restaurant is just...

We stumbled on this hostel late one night trying to make it to Finca Magdalena. Even though we were the only guests, late at night, we were still served Tona, Gallo pinto and chicken which was easily the best meal we've had in Nicaraugua. Real helpful family, funny kids, clean, extraordinary food, great alternative to Finca Magdelena.
