Welcome to Stream Valley holiday park. We are a small 5-star boutique site located in one of the most popular picturesque parts of Cornwall. We are a short drive to many stunning tourist sites, such as St Ives, Land’s End, St Michaels Mount, Sennen Cove, and the Minack theatre - to name just a few. Within walking distance of us is a dog-friendly white Sandy beach, with clear blue sea. In Penzance town you will find award-winning restaurants, gift shops, the harbour, the jubilee pool, and arcades for the kids. Just a short walk there’s a public house serving beautiful homemade food, along with a traditional pasty and cake shop. Everything you need is within walking distance, including a fish and chip shop and a Nisa convenience store. There really is something for everyone! For those bringing their pets, we have the most stunning public walks next to us to allow them to run free and exercise. Having been fully renovated to an extremely high standard we are a perfect haven for those wanting to run away and enjoy some quaint bliss, whether it is camping in a tent or hiring one of our luxury lodges.

Detailed Reviews
Small quiet site, local shop and chippy and only 30 minute walk into Penzance.
Hosts were very helpful, and obviously trying to improve the site which they only took on a couple of months ago. Upgraded us from grass to gravel pitch due to rain.
Facilities are small, but were always very clean including the shower, felt comfortable using them, even with COVID restrictions.
Wifi did not work first day but after that it was fine.
Would definitely use again as a couple, but no activities or play area if you had kids

Dear Andy, Thank you for your feedback, it is very important to us. Apologies for your experience with Wifi, we are working to improve our internet signals in our area. Regarding the play area for kids, unfortunately we do not provide play area in the site, however, we are located only a few minutes walk distance from a very nice park with a play area for kids. We hardly advise families to walk around and get to know the lovely village around and improve your experience in this nice part of the world. We are looking forward to welcoming you again in the future. Best regards.

Arrived at location after lots of rain and asked to change plot which we were allowed to do no problem.
Shower on site which you need to pay for, however toilets were clean and water hot in taps.
Found site manager/owners helpful and friendly and saved our awning as the wind was so strong, started to come off the van! Got a ladder when we got back to help put back on.
The campsite was really quiet and peaceful and maybe a smaller campsite than others, however, made it lovely.
Really enjoyed our stay here and appreciated the help we were given.
We rang the bell and someone came along quickly.
A good twenty minute walk to the sea, however, really liked the location.

Me, husband and 3 kids stayed here in July. Site very small. Owner's very friendly. Shower/toilet cubicles very clean. A bit annoying having to pay a £1 to use the shower for 10 mins and only 1 shower in ladies and mens but not a great problem. The most annoying thing I found was that there was not a parking space next to the tent. We managed to squeeze it next to the tent but weren't able to put tent porch on as wasn't enough room. The owners left on our second day and told us we could park where their caravan was, to be then told to move it when the Warden's arrived. The stream is very noisy and I woke several times a night so pack your ear plugs if a light sleeper. It didn't bother the kids but I really couldn't stand it. Other than that it was a great base for visiting Cornwall.

Hi we respect your comments, we advertise as a small boutique site and that's what we are. We do try and accomadate car parking if we are asked. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything about the stream noise, many of our guests say how soothing it is to hear.

This place is now called Steam Vally holiday park, with new ownership and modernisation this place was a perfect place to get away, we arrived on the Friday and departed Monday. The facilities were very clean and tidy, prob one of the best I’ve seen for a very long time. Place was quiet but only a couple of idiots like to make lots of noise but the staff on site see this and nipped it in the bud. They made you feel very welcome and will for sure be booking again to go back to do some more walking in Cornwall. Toilets cleaned everyday, and having shower facilities onsite at £1 for 10mins is a small price to pay. The plots are big, clean and well looked after. The area is quiet so you’ll have no issues noise. Many thanks for making our stay enjoyable.

Stayed 1 night in our 2 berth MH. At 1st glance the site looks lovely, with clean pitches and well maintained grass. However, the warden signed us in holding his cigarette throughout & stank of smoke. Things only got worse. Our pitch had a large light above which light up the whole MH & we needed blankets on the windows as our nets & curtains weren't enough. The site is very small & you're unable to drive around, thus there is no space to turn into your pitch & it's difficult to drive off site if close to the entrance - we did what seemed a 10 point turn. The shower room is cold with motion sensor lighting - if you are in the shower it gets dark quick. You also have to pay for showers via it seems a card that wasn't offered to us by the warden. The toilet door handle was broken so couldn't be shut & there is a push button light via timer so you're constantly pushing it to finish your business. There was no soap for washing & towel holder was broken. TV reception was non existent but at least we has WiFi. For £25 in January its a rip off campsite that we won't visit again.

We are sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay as much as we would have hoped. In response to your remarks we have lighting on site which is quite dim, it is for the safety and comfort of all, we are sorry that it's not to your liking but we have to cater for the majority of our guests. We advertise as a small boutique site we pride ourselves that it is a smaller site for peace and tranquility. We have lots of visitors whom visit us in all sorts of Motorhomes etc and have no problem. The showers and lighting are all set as per guidance from fully qualified electricians. We want to ensure that we are trying to do our bit for the environment so we chose these systems. It is unfortunate that there were some breakages and soap had run out we, do try and get them rectified as soon as we are made aware of them or notice them. Apologies that we are unable to do anything about TV reception but as you said WIFI is there so you can take advantage of catch-up on TV or the likes of netflix. We hope this clears up some of your issues.

Very friendly owner welcomed us on arrival and was very helpful, letting us know where everything was and places to visit. most importantly where the nearest pub was!
Toilets and showers were immaculate and love the fact that you use a card to pay for the shower which at £1 is not unreasonable (and it does say in the listing about the charge). I used them twice and they were available both times.
Plenty of room for the number of pitches, well kept grounds
Absolutely brilliant location, 30 minute easy walk into town, friendly pub (Sportsmans Inn) 6 minutes, shop and fish and chips 4 minutes.
Will definitely visit again and can recommend

Advertised as dog friendly and most definitely isn’t, so if you have a dog stay away. I do not agree with charging £2.00 night for dogs, when there are no facilities for them, you are expected to take them off site for exercise and toileting and the wardens are quick to tell people off if their dogs relieved themselves on the grass.
Greeted with do’s and don’ts which wasn’t very welcoming and not a great start to our holiday, so spent all our time away from the site. No tv signal, showers and toilets are freezing cold and cost extra. Would not recommend or stay here again, which is a shame as the location was good.

We accept your remarks but due to health and safety and the comfort of all we have to ensure that dogs do not foul pitches and communal areas. There are walks for dogs just off-site.

Mel and Tony made us feel very welcome it was as if they had known us for years.
Stream Valley is a small but well kept campsite in an ideal location for Penzance and Lands end.
Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.
Once again thanks Mel and Tony for a great holiday.

Where so I start 1st off all I paid £700 for this!
And also before I start this review I have been on the website, it clearly doesn’t show you how big the campsite is in ‘photos’ and there is also nothing about having no dog facilities at all otherwise I would not have booked here!
1st of all we couldn’t check in untill 4 what was fine so we killed some time, I then get a phone call at around 10 past 4 asking where I am because checking closes at 5 but I was never told this, in my email it says any late arrivals or your lost call the warden! We was 20 minutes away what wasn’t an issue, we then turned up to a locked gate, nobody at reception but then they turned up, I have a 2 year old cockerpoo and a 15 week shih poo, when arriving I said on the booking we have 1 dog but being honest I said we have new dog and was expecting to pay for him but got told ‘as long as the owners don’t see I’m not bothered’ what instantly put me on edge, to say it’s dog friendly there was no gate to be able to stop them escaping, it then just got worse, there is signs everywhere, dogs are not allowed in the bed rooms, in the living rooms, on the sofa & your not allowed in the hot tub after 9 and quite time again nothing showing on there website.
In the email asks you to bring your blankets for them, I even saw a sign that said no dogs allowed in the chalet with the dogs being there you was expected to take them off site i’m not physic sally I don’t know when my dogs need to wee and poo all the time but apparently it’s extremely acceptable for any woman or man to walk down a dark country lane at 3am? It just made us feel so unwelcome, my dogs couldn’t just play we had to put things in place so they couldn’t escape, you got a funny look of your dog barked!
We then had to pay any other £500 to move somewhere else one the same day where our dogs play happily, can do there business where and the Owner left them some treat, towel and dog bowl what was such a lovely touch! I would love my money back but can see from reviews that they won’t and if I’m honest I wouldn’t pay that amount of money to stay there as there is nothing to do on site & it’s like being in a prison of what you can & can’t do.
As my title says it is your welcome but your dog isn’t, I would advise if you have dogs don’t stay here and the worst thing is you have to pay for them!! it looks like a lot of people have had the same issue in the past and I wish I did my research before

We stayed for 3 nights this weekend and we don't have a bad word to say about it! From the minute we arrived the owner couldn't do enough for us, he was super friendly and made sure we was OK and that we had a good spot to pitch our tent. Really clean and well maintained site. We enjoyed the smaller site as it didn't feel overcrowded and it was peaceful, just what we wanted. There are cameras on the site and a gate that stays shut so we felt safe.
We will definitely be returning! Thank you :)
