We spent a week camping at Tower Park as a small group of families. The site was exactly what we had hoped for - good sized, flat pitches, trees and hedges afforded decent shade and privacy, and immaculate facilities.

The kids enjoyed the small play area and there were open spaces where we were able to hold group games. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the site felt peaceful and safe.

The location is excellent, with all the top local attractions just a short 10-15 minute drive away, such as Porthcurno and the Minnack, Sennen Cove, Trengwainton National Trust, Mousehole, Penzance, Marazion and St Michael’s Mount, etc.

Our only slight disappointment (and it was very slight) was the cost of the food takeaway we had on our first night, which was cooked in the onsite kitchen - £14.50 for a ladle of Caribbean chicken stew served with a little salad and a quarter of a standard flour tortilla. Other takeaway options rotate throughout the week during peak season, some offered by visiting food trucks, but we didn’t try any of them.

Overall, it was an unforgettable stay and we will definitely be back.

Recently stopped at this camp site in our tent for a week.
We had a lovely time in the area and would highly recommend this site.
On arrival we were greeted by a really friendly woman in reception who showed us where our pitch was and provided us with a map showing all site facilities.
We had chosen pitch 40 due to its large size. If your up this end of the site be aware its a very dark walk to the toilets at night but a beautiful location to sit and watch the stars due to low light pollution. The site is rather windy but thats obviously due to the location, could do maybe with some higher edges to help shelter the tents a bit more.
We visited after days and days worth of downpours and the ground was soft but obviously had good drainage as no puddles present.
Nice little park on site for the kids, few essentials for sale in the reception and all the basic facilities needed. The shower block has a good number of toilets, few showers and a few non private sinks. The site was busy (as expected in August) but not full. There was only the odd time that we had to wait to access a sink or a shower but this was a very short wait and not an issue.
Fish and chip van visited the site twice a week (was ok, we are spoilt with amazing fish and chips at home), there was also a pizza van that visited one night and a carribean food van but we sadly was not back on the site early enough to try these.
Overall the site was clean and tidy, nice quiet family location. Would definatly return and recommend this place, brilliant base to explore southern Cornwall from.

A lovely family friendly campsite! What a find we are residents of Cornwall ourselves but were looking to trek further south to explore. This is located in a fantastic position to explore most of the furthest south areas such as Penzance, The Minack Theatre, Porthcurno, Sennen Cove and Lands End. We stayed for a long weekend and due to having our dog managed only lands end - there are dog bans on most of the beaches from 10-6 daily in the summer.

The campsite itself is great. Lots of space over a couple of fields, the pitches are marked well although the depth was difficult to judge and were told as we were pitching we needed to move - although this was our intention once our gazebo was up. Just make sure you pitch as close to the hedgerow was possible although looking at others pitches it can be hard to judge what’s right and wrong. The facilities were really good, a little dated but clean and tidy my husband mentioned the men’s shower area did get very wet but he witnessed a few people quite happily walk away without sponging the area down - like I also witness with the washing up area - so this isn’t necessarily the campsites issue. There was a TV room which had free WiFi and places to charge phones/devices. The children’s play area looked fairly new and was enjoyed by all four of our children (2, 6, 8, 10) dogs are not allowed in the pitches by the play area but this wasn’t a problem for us. The site was really reasonably priced and for the first weekend of the school holidays easy enough to phone for last minute availability- there was lots of availability and lots of pitches free which made it feel so much more roomy. You can have raised fire pits which is always a bonus too. We will 100% revisit!

Our first visit in about 7 years to Cornwall. We booked this campsite for it's location in West Cornwall and fantastic price. We had a lovely big pitch for our tent in the bottom field, beautiful views of the countryside and for high season we had so much space between us and the nearest other campers a few pitches away. Toilets and showers in the main block by reception were exceptionally clean. A laundry room also had a free ice pack exchange and there was a TV room with free phone charging and wifi which our teenagers thought was great, ideal for campers without electric hook up. There was also a play area where other children could meet and play. There was a takeaway van timetable on site, which was an extra positive touch, although we didn't use, was a great idea. A small reception also sold fresh eggs and drinks with a few other things like suncream.
A short walk into the village was a very well stocked shop and a free book swop in the bus shelter. Also a Church which had an active timetable of events. A short drive away was Sennen Cove for body boarding, Cape Cornwall, Porthcurno, the Minnack theatre & Lands End, In the other direction Penzance,St Michaels Mount and St Ives. A local farmshop was nearby in St Buryan and a dog field. We had such a lovely holiday, we would definately return next year. The owners and staff at the campsite were so friendly and were so helpful to talk to and ask advice. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We camped here on an unserviced pitch and was given the option of choosing any availible pitch to set up on. The unserviced pitches are big, enough space for my van and awning, the shower and toilet blocks were clean with evenly spaced sinks and loos for social distancing, hand sanitizer stations in various locations, the campsite has made a real effort to help campers stay safe during covid. The site is quiet with a mix of families and couples. Nicely located in the village of St Buryan and close to Penzance and beaches popular with water sport enthusiasts, freshly baked pizzas on site and a pub within walking distance that serves food, also in the village was a handy little corner shop that is well stocked. Myself and my family have been to a lot of campsites in Cornwall and I would stay here again as the location is great for exploring this part of Cornwall.

Lovely quiet site in a small village with friendly staff, we had hard standing, grass if required, good flat pitch. The site has reception / small shop, only 5 minutes from village with shop, pub & good bus service, also has a reading room, laundry & drop in fish & chip van. Only downfall was showers which literally stay on for a few seconds, constantly need to press the button, also lots of water from next shower round feet, however this wouldn’t stop me visiting again as we thought the site as a whole was good value

This is a real hidden gem - quiet, laid back pitches well spaced out and a lovely central area for the littlies to play.
Five hard standing pitches are fully serviced with grassed areas in between and reinforced areas in front for your vehicle
Close to lots in west Cornwall and only a few minutes into Penzance, some stunning beaches within a few miles and some
Dog friendly ones too.
Site toilets and showers spotlessly clean, lots of other facilities we didn’t use so
Can’t comment on (launderette /ironing etc) - chip vans couple of times a week but can confirm good food in local pub five minute walk away with general store across the road and a very good farm shop few mins drive in other direction , this was a lucky find with really friendly and helpful staff and we will certainly be back

We stayed for 4 nights as part of a bike touring trip. The site was spacious (although the electrical hook up pitches looked quite close together). The staff were friendly and welcoming. There are lots of toilets and showers. They were cleaned regularly. The shower cubicles have hooks and a bench and a separate area to dry off and get dressed in. There are washing up sinks with draining boards.
There is a laundry room with washing machines (£4 a load) and a dryer. There are sinks for hand washing swimwear etc. There is a freezer for ice blocks but it is not in use this year. Most evenings between 5 and 7pm pizzas were available. We had them on our last night and found them to be tasty and good value. In the nearby village there is a small Londis with basic items and one pub (but we didn’t try this). From our pitch we could see beautiful sunsets most evenings too.

Many thanks to Jude and Tara, who got us in at short notice. With the Covid regulations in place, social distancing was practiced with the wash basins, toilets and dish-washing. Nobody really minded some areas being out of bounds, and all the campers we met were friendly and cheerful.
Our hired campervan was rigged for wild camping but you can't pass up hot showers and clean loos.
The office/shop was well-stocked with essentials, though there is a convenience store and farm shop close by. This is somewhere we will definitely return to.

First trip for our 3 year old granddaughter in our campervan. We were on a non-electric pitch so not busy here, even in August. She loved the play park and the freedom of the spacious fields. We chose this family run campsite because (a) we love this area of Cornwall, and (b) it's not huge with so many facilities (clubhouse, pool, etc) but enough to entertain a 3 Yr old with the play park and large TV room for board games, etc if it rains! Staff were very welcoming and friendly. I did feel that the hot water for the showers could be a little warmer. Showers and toilets were well stocked and clean. If you intend to have a meal in the St Buryan Inn then you need to book in advance as it's the only pub in the village and gets rather busy.

I’m afraid we don’t have any availability for static caravans until late September. Sorry we are unable to help on this occasion.

Are controlled fires (i.e. raised fire pits and/or barbecues) allowed on this site? Thank-you in advance.

I don't think that there is a problem with that. I tend to use a gas griddle, but I have seen others using disposable barbecues . They also have some permanent barbecues near the amenities block. The latter point is from memory but I'm sure that I'm right.
