The hotel offers excellent value for money. The room was very clean, A/C,fridge,TV and kettle available,as well good black out curtains for those who preffer to sleep till late. The staff is extremly helpful and welcoming, which is why I rate the hotel as 5 stars. I have mistankingly booked the hotel for 1 day later then our actual arrival and the receptiontist was kind to hilight that we should cancel the booking, even helped us with the process. In the morning,we wanted to have breakfast, however we had little time available. As they don't have a per say restaurant on the premisis,of which we were not aware, the breakfast is being delivered to the room. To our pleasant surprise, we mentioned that we are in a rush, and a generous selection breakfast was delivered in 10 minutes. There are restaurants where we waited longer then that for a glass of water. A big warm thank you for the staff that looked after us and made our short stay even more enjoyable.…
The room looked old & the rugs on the floor looked like they needed burning. They were full of bits & had dirty marks all over them, we had to walk around the room avoiding them, even though I wanted to throw them out in the corridor but I couldn't because they were stuck underneath the furniture. There were also hairs all over the floor & in the bathroom so the room wasn't cleaned well even though at check in the receptionist asked us to wait while they checked if the room was ready. There was a kettle & 2 cups with the hotels logo & the words "Luxury at its finest" printed on them however there was not even any complimentary tea, coffee or bottled water. The TV had a couple of channels & the rest were fuzzy. I know nobody is really going to this hotel to watch TV but for the price you pay you would you expect it to work properly. The bathroom however was new & the shower was hot & fast. Breakfast was nothing special. The fruit, salad & sliced meats were dry even though we got there half an hour after it opened. It didn't look very appetizing but we made do. There's a swimming pool on the roof which looked ok when I saw it the first day but when I went to take a look the following morning the water looked dirty. Overall the hotel felt unclean & the staff disinterested. The standard does not reflect the price paid & I would expect to pay half of what we did. You have to make the choice whether you can grin & bear it for one night or you part with more cash in another hotel.…
Back home to Germany after a 3 weeks vacation we want to give our feedback. It was our third visit to this hotel (10 years ago, 3 years ago and now). It is still a very beautiful and elegant hotel with extremely friendlyl and helpful staff. Being ultra all inclusive guests we had the choise between 4 restaurants: the main restaurant (buffet), the Asian restaurant, Italian restaurant and Bahari Grill restaurant at the beach. Special praise deserves the well looked after BAHARI GRILL restaurant with wonderful manager Mr. Ajay, Mr. Jen, Mr. Prosband, the cook who prepared amazing mouthwatering meals and the whole team. They wellcomed and treated us so warmly that there we felt a home far away from home. Outstanding were also very friendly manager Mr. Ivanta, Miss Lorraine in the main restaurant and Miss Oka in the Italian restaurant. Unfortunately there is also one negative point which has to be mentioned: The great number of Russian guests with bad behaviour with their numerous noisy kids, running around, shouting loud even at nighttime when the animation programme was on - that was really disturbing. These people seem to have no education at all. We do not to generalize, but well educated Russians who behaved like civilized persons were the exemption. Sorry to say so, but the big quantity of this kind of people spoils the quality of this once wonderful hotel with best reputation.…
Don't judge the book by its cover, the hotel building itself is a little bit confusing since it doesn't really show a hotel but once you go inside you will see a beautiful and friendly staff upon check in. From the furniture and service its great. The room is small but complete amenities for a 3 star rating, clean and nice bathroom and quiet rooms for relaxing, comfy beds too. Food was great as well though serving maybe a little bit late than normal but the outcome taste delicious.
I had been there a couple of times, In starting, it was a nice place for shisha but slowly shisha quality goes down, plus if you are going with your partner I do not recommend due to sitting arrangement. Plus their hot beverages are not nice but milkshakes I recommend.
The hotel has a top location 2 minutes away with car from Al Aqah Beach. There is a lot of good Arabian restaurants with cheap prices around the hotel. Rooms are moderate in size and clean. Prices are fair. Staff are friendly and helpful. The Director of the hotel welcomed us when we came. There is a lot of good diving sites at Al Aqah Beach to discover the marine life in the Gulf of Oman.
We booked to stay here for a weekend on a diving trip, it was an excellent choice for this, just a 5 minute drive or less to the beach. The hotel itself to look at is realy nothing special, the staff weren't even very helpful, however the room we had was great, comfy bed and a huge shower, so as many people have already recommended, to sleep it's a great choice
I had been there many times, especially for shisha. Nice place to sit and spacious for small group. I have tried their fried rice and unfortunately it was terrible experience. It was so salty and tasteless and their hot beverages are not impressive.
