We recently booked a reservation based on all the beautiful photos, the positive reviews and have a "have a five-star" experience as their advertisement says. But once we arrived, our experience was short of pleasant. The room was in order but not very clean. Our 'fresh' sheets were full of sand , dirty sink and moldy tiles in the bathroom walls and shower. There was a water leak in the dining room with sewer flies all over the apartment. Because the hotel is right next to the trash and sewer, the stench and the swarms of flies were extremely unpleasant. Aside from that, we were mildly inconvenienced by the poor internet service and the lack of laundry facilities for guests at a beach setting. Due to these issues with the room we had to check out early and were denied a refund. I would not recommend this place!

Owner. Angel tried to be accommodating, and tried his best, but so many things went wrong with my family stay. It was from dirty towels behind a headboard to calling the police for disturbance of the peace. Vacation rentals are so close that the loud music and boisterous guests seem like they were in our room at 2 A.M. police of course never arrived as this is considered the norm. No valid options for dining in the area with the exception of Annie’s Place. My family went without dinner on 6/3 as the cook in the Fogata, which is the only other, restaurant quit and dinner for 5 was not served. Our family ate cereal that night. I will not return, and consider yourself warned.

This is the best place in town. the owner is very careful about cleaning and surrounding areas. he is always on top of the property cleaning and making all the guests welcome. Great bedding, location, 2-dinning tables plenty of chairs. Loved the exclusive parking spot and open balcony. Loved that combat is across the street, 100 feet from the room. Be-Aware: its in the center of combate, very noisy, there are a lot of traffic day and night specially on weekends. -> need to improve: no microwave on the rooms. there is only 1-on the hall and everybody uses it. even now during covid.

Got there on a Thursday late in the day....went next door to a restaurant for drinks and some munchies.....food was excellent. Next day went to beach, It was real nice and hardly anyone there....Luichy's provided beach chairs...we brought our own beach towels....(please do). Owner (Angel) was very welcoming. Our rooms (two BR's) were updated, very clean and had most of what you needed. We went a couple of miles away for groceries. Friday night at same bar next door was Kareoke, which seems to be the thing in PR, and it was excellent and alot of fun. The little town was awake until after midnight. Day three we walked to another very close beach and it was clean, water was clear and warm...so that was excellent. We came for the beach! Saturday night, more Kareoke down the street and it was a total blast...I think we were the only non locals. Everyone was so welcoming and delightful and food was excellent. Sunday everyone in town left....everything closed...the last bar did stay open but we spent the day at Luichy's pool. It is an above the ground pool, but it was serviced by a pool service while we were there and it is perfect and private....We did not see the owner before we left, so we could tell him thank you, but if we had, we would have. There were 3 of us and our room could have slept 6.....For a budget vacation, this was great.
