Absolutely love this place. Definitely where I'll be staying the next time we get back. My mom, brother, and I stayed in an ocean view loft... which was much bigger than i expected... more than enough room and we loved it! Loved that the resort was so quaint (maybe 8 room/units total) and away from all the craziness of West...

I have stayed at Barefoot Cay twice now, and I am so happy to have finally found a perfect dive vacation as a "non-diver" (a phrase I learned these past few years since marrying a diver). I am a beach lover, and hubby is a diver. Barefoot Cay has everything that I could wish for – casual elegance – secluded...

we spent a week at Barefoot Cay in mid april. we stayed above the dive shop and it was fantastic, The room was huge, the little boats ran us back and forth to the pool so fast we didn't even blink. We had a huge deck and when I asked for a lounge chair, they had it brought up by...

We recently spent a week at Barefoot Cay and enjoyed our experience very much. There are a few things that could be improved to make this a full-fledged 5-star review (I gave it 5, but would like to give it 4.5). First, the really great stuff: 1. Location. The resort is a few km east of the airport, well away...

Came to the resort for a nice dinner. Atmosphere was nice, but dinner was mediocre and the most expensive we had on Roatan by far. The only item ordered that was good was the filet. Otherwise fish overcooked and dry. Calimari VERY spongy.

My husband and I traveled from Ottawa, Canada to Barefoot from April 10-17th (right in the middle of Semana Santa!) and had a wonderful trip from start to finish. I will echo all the positive comments posted before me - the service was friendly and went above and beyond, the accommodations were top notch, the food and drink was excellent,...

I stayed at BFC from April 8-15. Because people exaggerate and/or complain, I aim to give you a full quality review with the good, bad and other. Just to state it clearly, lest it get lost in various details: the hotel is wonderful. The thing that sets it apart, for me, were the staff. They knew my name. They knew...

The experience of a Lifetime... Barefoot Cay was beyond expectations. Such a wonderful spot with great service, all smiles, amazing food (try the king crab there), and above all, if you're there to dive, that is the number 1 spot in the island. Best dive shop and the places they took us... it was breathtaking. We tried other dives at...

We learned about Barefoot Cay via a recommendation from another family we had met at a resort in Belize. They said if you liked this place, you would love Barefoot. And we did - for the most part. We made the trip with another family, 9 of us in all, and we each rented out one of the 2 bedroom...

We did not stay at the resort but dove with Barefoot Divers (separate review) and ate lunch at Barefoot Cay several times during our three month stay in Roatan. We ordered items from the regular lunch menu and from their Sunday BBQ (open to the public every Sunday noon to 5 pm, with live musical entertainment). The mixed grill ($12)...
