We stayed at this motel because it was one of the very few in the area. It turned out to be considerably better than we expected. It was small and old, but clean and in good repair. Breakfast was limited to toast and cold cereal,...More
In the middle of nowhere near Capitol Reef National Park is a roadside motel with character. 15 miles one way to dinner and 30 miles the other, what to do? The office is stocked with a variety of frozen entrees to heat up and cook...More
What a surprise. Even though this is an older property it is well kept. We had the handicap room on the lower floor so naturally it was large as was the bathroom. The bed was ok, the shower great, it was clean , no smells,...More

The closest restaurant is Luna Mesa but it was closed at the time I was there because of mud. there was a big storm which rained a lot. Luna Mesa should be open now. Next choice is to head east to a little town called Hanksville. I believe there are three restaurants to choose from. I do not recommend going west to Torrey because of the distance.
