Great couple currently running the place may be able to save an old property. It's really the "only game around" (I think the well-lit parking lot has the only outdoor lights in Caineville--population 20!) Easy access to Capitol Reef NP, Waterpocket Fold, world-famous off-road riding,...More
After a day at Capitol Reef National Park, we headed east and found great scenery but little else. Without warning, in the middle of nowhere we found this Rodeway Inn. It didn't look like much from the road, but we were tired and ready to...More
This motel is great for view and quiet. It rates a 5 if based on the couple currently running it, as they are exceedingly accommodating and concerned for the guests' welfare and comfort. It is a modest motel but comfortable and clean, and the breakfast...More

The closest restaurant is Luna Mesa but it was closed at the time I was there because of mud. there was a big storm which rained a lot. Luna Mesa should be open now. Next choice is to head east to a little town called Hanksville. I believe there are three restaurants to choose from. I do not recommend going west to Torrey because of the distance.
