This isn't a resort or a hotel but, for our taste, I don't think it gets much better than this. The owner is charming and welcomes you into her home and does everything reasonable to make you comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding, the beds are very comfortable, and the cleanliness and spaces of the cottage are a delight. The property...

The owner of Trevore Cottage, Sheelagh, has created a lovely home that makes you feel at ease the moment you walk in the door. It is a beautiful combination of traditional Cornish architecture enhanced by the artistic nature of Sheelagh. If you want to relax in the peace and quiet of the countryside under big skies, within a home subtly...

Sheelagh's cooking is unbelievable a typical breakfast is: homemade bread, home cooked fruit of many kinds yoghurt, muesli, traditional cooked breakfast, salmon and scrambled eggs, or my absolute favourite freshly local smoked haddock and poached egg. Sheelagh never interferes but when asked will offer extensive advice on local cliff path walks, cheaper local beach car parks, beautiful walks and art...

We had a terrific time at Trevore Cottage thanks to Sheelagh's warm hospitality, the outstanding breakfasts and her insights on local things to see and do. We really felt we were at home away from home. We had a whole week to explore the area, get to know Sheelagh and learn from her connections in the art world. Definitely a...

Sheelagh is so friendly, it would be hard to find a place more enjoyable to stay. She said that she does not have business guests but 'friends' in her house. I have already told people that for me it is the loveliest renovation I have seen. She has created space and a relaxing atmosphere but retained many of the old...
