Why is it that TA reviewers rate a restaurant in the hotel section? Happens so often.
We have already reviewed the restaurant where we dined when staying here.
There are 4 rooms, three seem to be above the bar, so could possibly be noisy, but...More
we booked and stayed for one night in the Oak Room, was very spacious and clean, nice size bathroom. the room had two windows one overlooked small garden also the smoking area, front window overlooked entrance, so could get noisy as expected, especially with windows...More
Once again at the two Sawyers and the food is fantastic if you don't like the red cabbage there is something wrong with you. steak and kidney pie two drinks roast beef £25 can't go wrong

Had a lovely meal,good company, and a great atmosphere.Food was lovely and a great variety was available.Lovely surroundings.we didn't stay in the hotel, only went for lunch.It is set in beautiful surroundings and on a nice day you ours go on a lovely walk.
Room and bathroom lovely, great shower, good food. Great service at table for dinner and breakfast from really attentive waiting staff, but welcome could have been warmer. Very pretty pub, lovely garden, plenty of parking. Good menu choices.
