We visited here for a 4 night short holiday at the end of our main holiday in Malaysia. We were very impressed with all the staff at the resort. They excel in customer service and really do go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. We made some comments about the breakfast ( not covered / few flies...

This property is absolutely beautiful and it's the only property on Manukan Island. There's a private beach area for guests and a public beach area for day guests. Once I stepped off of the ferry and walked along the boardwalk towards reception, I immediately felt at ease. I spent a lot of time at the reception area because it was...

I have never before, and will probably never again, stay in such a beautiful resort. The rooms were worth 10 stars, as was the location. Yes, there are many tourists during the day, but they did not bother us in the slightest. The serenity of the island after the tourists leave is amazing - very romantic and beautiful. The breakfast,...

The Manukan Island resort was one of the highlights of our trip. We stayed there for four nights with the stay and dive of Divedown below and really loved our stay there. The staff is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Especially the restaurant staff does anything to make you feel comfortable. We had the pleasure to...

We had a blissful stay on the island and would return in a moment. The villa was sensational and incredibly spacious. The facilities were new and kept spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a broken leg and there were plenty of stairs to navigate but everyone was very helpful and caring to assist with my disability. The...

Pros- The Island was beautiful! If you take a day trip to the island, you will not be able to appreciate of the beauty there. We stayed for 2 nights, and therefore we got to experience the true feeling of the island and the beach. We just happened to be 2 of 4 guests staying on the island at the...

We went to the restaurant twice from another island. The local food is average, cocktails are nice. Our favourite is coconut pudding. We enjoy the most is the atmosphere. Slow island life, sitting in the couch for hours, enjoy the sun or sea breeze. Staff are very friendly.

We stayed at the Manukan Island Resort for 2 nights during our honeymoon to Borneo. The accommodation was superb, with great views and access to the private section of the beach. We had just come from 5 nights of being utterly spoilt on the nearby Gaya Island Island and this was very different - much more rustic and a local...

Absolute paradise. After 32 hours of travelling we planned Manakun Island resort as our first stop for three nights, in the hope it'd relax, rejuvenate and show us what Borneo has to offer and it didn't disappoint. For an honest review from an English female travelling as part of a couple please continue to read. An easy easy boat ride...
