The setting is glorious, the resort spans a small bay with a full length white sandy beach and lush green rainforest behind. We stayed in a plunge pool villa which was equally gorgeous, large, lovely decor, big bathroom with large bath and shower, and set right on beach. We loved the room and couldn't have asked for any more. The...

Dear Leesa P, Thank you for your feedback you are right we are very fortunate with our pristine setting. I read with interest your difficulty in booking recreational activities. We always advise, during the busy times that in order to avoid disappointment any spa and dive activities should be booked in advance. Jungle trekking with our nature guides are on...

The place is beautiful. The views from our room were amazing, we could have gazed from the balcony all day. There is excellent snorkeling just off the beach. The pool is a good size, and the beach is perfect. It was great fun trying out sea kayaking and paddle boarding (at no extra cost). The staff are plentiful and very...

Breathtaking setting, surrounded by the most wonderful colours and gorgeous flowers. Snorkelling is spectacular, and there are lots of activities to keep you occupied. Make sure to book a jungle trek with a guide ahead of time. First time in my life that I haven't been cold diving! Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and the beach was nice and clean. But...

We stayed here in June for the first few nights of our honeymoon and it was just perfect. We had a plunge pool villa (number 9) which was very spacious and although facing the beach it was still very private. The villas are quite rustic, but that's what makes this resort so beautiful. They are all built sympathetically into and...

We stayed here for three nights to charge our batteries after our wedding and before heading into the jungle. (Worth doing to get over jet lag and acclimatise to the humidity as it is quite hard going). It's a really lovely setting. The food is good and there's enough to do for a few days if you get twitchy feet....

We havent stay at this resort but took the advantage of visiting as guests of the sister resort - Gayanna Eco Resort. We loved the white sandy private beach and their pool - the staff gave us the best attention.

What a great resort. From the moment you arrive at the jetty, the staff are nothing short of fantastic. The setting is magical. We had a beach villa with a plunge pool, perfect for relaxing with a good book and just reveling in the tropical setting. We did the zip line and the canopy walk both of which were good...

We stayed for a few nights in July. The rooms themselves were gorgeous and could not be faulted.the food was also lovely, including the breakfast which was included. The resort itself is a little run down and there was some rubbish behind one of the restaurants where we were initially shown to our rooms and this was disappointing as it...

Arriving at Bunga Raya is an amazing site, these beautiful rooms surrounded by rain forest, and all private, so relaxing, and a lovely white sanded beach, we would sit in the Pantai restaurant on the beach at happy hour, and just look out at the south china sea, really beautiful, and great when you see a couple of wild boars...

I'm only giving this a "Very Good" rating cause there were a few things that weren't fantastic but I would visit again. Rooms were superb, staff were beautiful. There were just little bits and pieces that needed attention. The restaurants were good but not a huge variety if staying for more than 3-4 nights. We really enjoyed our time here....
