Love, love, love this resort, our villa was like a own little home and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Had a very special dinner in a private beach pavillion and took advantage of the amazing snorkelling, even tried the zipline. Highly recommend this resort for both couples and families with older children, littlies might be a little...

We stayed at the resort for 2 nights, having flown into Kota Kinabalu the transfer from the airport to the Jesselton Point takes about 15 minutes by taxi (RM25/30), or you can arrange a transfer directly with the hotel. From Jesselton Point you take the hotel boat to the island which takes about 15/20 minutes. All staff were friendly from...

We were overwhelmed when we arrived at Bunga Raya. It was such a stunning location and we were welcomed so warmly. The staff were friendly, approachable and cheerful. The resort, although 5 star luxury, had a relaxed feel which made us feel immediately relaxed too! We were on our honeymoon and the staff kindly prepared a villa with a stunning...

We had a lovely stay here. The beach is amazing, the water crystal clear and gorgeous to swim in. The infinity pool was also lovely. We had a Superior villa which was lovely with fantastic views. The bathroom was also spacious. The staff were overall very friendly especially Akmal who greeted us onto the Island. However, we really feel that...

Dear Laura C, Thank you for your comments on your recent stay. I do apologise no one looked after your specific meal arrangements this is certainly not the standard we are supposed to follow. I have taken the matter up with our chef and FnB department to ensure this was a one off incident. We have also just introduced a...

We stayed in early March and had the most idyllic holiday. This is an exclusive small resort superbly located in a cove on the island of raya 30mins from the Sabah cost and Kota Kinabalu. A private boat takes you to the resort. Our beach side villa with its own plunge-pool was a delight as were the resort's restaurants and...

This is a really difficult review to right because it was so closes between a 4 and a 5 star. So put like this. It is a 5 star resort in Malaysia. It is a 4 star if you put it in somewhere like the Maldives or Samui. So to start off Checkin- Check in was an easy and and...

The setting is glorious, the resort spans a small bay with a full length white sandy beach and lush green rainforest behind. We stayed in a plunge pool villa which was equally gorgeous, large, lovely decor, big bathroom with large bath and shower, and set right on beach. We loved the room and couldn't have asked for any more. The...

Dear Leesa P, Thank you for your feedback you are right we are very fortunate with our pristine setting. I read with interest your difficulty in booking recreational activities. We always advise, during the busy times that in order to avoid disappointment any spa and dive activities should be booked in advance. Jungle trekking with our nature guides are on...

The place is beautiful. The views from our room were amazing, we could have gazed from the balcony all day. There is excellent snorkeling just off the beach. The pool is a good size, and the beach is perfect. It was great fun trying out sea kayaking and paddle boarding (at no extra cost). The staff are plentiful and very...

Breathtaking setting, surrounded by the most wonderful colours and gorgeous flowers. Snorkelling is spectacular, and there are lots of activities to keep you occupied. Make sure to book a jungle trek with a guide ahead of time. First time in my life that I haven't been cold diving! Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and the beach was nice and clean. But...
