Spent 5 days relaxing in the pretty resort over the water. Atmosphere is good as the staff are wonderful and friendly and always willing to help with a smile. A special shout out to Evelyn/Eva at reception who literally when out of her way to arrange a trip to the pharmacy on the mainland to pick up some medicine for...

Spent 3 days here and wished we had stayed longer, it's ideallic. The villas are clean, modern and spacious with steps straight into the ocean from your deck. There is a huge variety of fish to see whilst snorkeling. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The restaurant we used had a...

The Gayana Eco Resort was an experience I will never forget. The bungalow was amazing, the staff was so wonderful, and we enjoyed snorkeling right off of our room. We saw a double rainbow with a breathtaking sunset on our first night. This was truly paradise!

All the staff are sincere with friendliness and deserve a pad on the back. The breakfast provided is sufficient and of good quality. It provides both western...

This requires a longer review than normal and an explanation. I loved this resort, absolutely loved it, but there are aspects that need mentioning. First the room - we stayed in a Palm Villa (over water villa near the reef edge) with it's own plunge pool - really very very nice. Private with great outlook over the ocean and the...

My husband and I came here to finish off our Malaysia trip. It was fairly easy to get an uber to Jesselton point and organise our journey from there. At first glance we were a bit dismayed as there was so much rubbish floating around but the manager advised us that it was due to monsoon season and it was...

Spent 5 days at Gayana over christmas and had a great experience. Rooms: We were upgraded after the first night to a room with direct water access for swimming which was great. Not all rooms have that so look for that when booking. Rooms were overall very well maintained with beds you never want to leave. Service: Great service almost...
