Absolutely fantastic from the check-in to the check-out! We stayed there for 3 nights and fell in love with this place!!! Silvia and Melissa immediately made us feel at home!!! Such a pleasant and warm welcome. It is truly hard to find so much hospitality. Exceptional customer service. The tent itself was everything we were looking for...we relaxed as soon as we stepped into it. What a beautiful place on earth. Our dog was always welcome anywhere on the vineyard which we appreciated a lot. We also participated in a wine tasting and enjoyed Francesca telling us more about the fantastic wines they produce! Needless to say that our car was loaded with wines from Poggio Rosso. We loved it there and can highly recommend it. Many thanks to the great staff at Poggio Rosso who made our stay so pleasurable xxxl…
We are just back from an amazing week with our kids in this comfortable, friendly and peaceful location. In one of the best spot of Tuscany coast, Poggio Rosso allowed us to leave in tight contact with the nature, spoiled by the comforts of the location and by the friendliness of the hosts. Kids loved waking up with the birds song! last but not least.... we enjoyed the great wine of Poggio Rosso vineyard
We booked our stay in November as we knew we had to be early. Everything okei, until two weeks before arrivel we got a cancellation of the booking. We did get an option of a hotel closeby, but that was something totally different! We got our deposit back, but ended up stressing to find something simular. Not recommanded!
We stayed for 1 week in August as a family of 3. Beautiful tents, comfy beds, great bathrooms, with all the self catering equipment you need. Although no BBQ due to fire hazard. Each individual plot felt very private. Great, attentive staff who were really helpful. Beautiful setting on the vineyard - you get a free tour of the winery and wine tasting by the owner who was so passionate and informative about the process. We didn't feel obliged to buy but bought a few bottles to drink whilst on holiday. The Glamping is located about 10 mins drive from Baratti beach which is a lovely sandy cove backed by pine trees. You can hire bikes and it's a 20-25 min bike ride fairly hilly so suitable for kids age 8 plus who've got strength and stamina to cycle. The beach is very Italian - we didn't hear one other English family - which we loved! Great beach bar - you must have a drink watching the sunset it is beautiful. A really nice laid back hippy vibe to the place. A good couple of restaurants too - we had amazing pasta at the restaurant at the right hand side of the cove. A couple of things to mention - You can hear the traffic from the main costal road that runs past the winery particularly at night so if you're not a sound sleeper take ear plugs. Also there was an annoying local dog that barked throughout the night.... We did some exploration along the coast but found baratti bay to be the nicest. Don't bother going up to Cecina - feels downmarket with grey stony sand. …
