We would like to thank The Mendip Spring Golf & Country Club for our Amazing wedding held on 5th May 2023. We booked our wedding day last July .. My Fiancé had been to a previous wedding there and thought it would be an amazing place for our wedding. Emma who organised the day could not have been more helpful and set out the plans for the day ..Everything went to plan and no hiccups, quite often when you go to a weddings the food can look quite stingy but I have to say the food here was beautifully cooked and portions were quite generous and all served by quality staff .. in the evening we had a hog roast for around 125 people and there was plenty of food on offer .. we had a bridal suite as part of the package and plenty of our guest stayed over and enjoyed the stay .Emma and her team cannot be faulted as they made our day wonderful.…

Six of us visited on a stay and play basis. Rooms are basic but reasonably priced. Food was OK. Course was in great condition with pristine greens and wide fairways but the rough is brutal so we each lost several balls over 36 holes. We will definitely return.

Lovely friendly place, check in was very easy. Chalet rooms were clean and very comfy beds. The one thing stopping a 5* review was the fact the curtains didn't quite cover the whole window or door so when the security light came on when it sensed movement the room lit up so much. I understand why there has to be security lights but wider curtains and better curtain poles would be a massive improvement.

Had a great weekend at Mendip, the golf course is in excellent condition. The course is very long 6500 yards really glad we had buggies. Make sure you take plenty of balls as there is water everywhere. The rooms are basic and some in our party said their wardrobe was very small. but have flat screen tv and a great shower . The beds are not the most comfortable I've slept on . The food I thought was very good indeed I spoke to the chef and he spiced my curry up for me . The meat pie was excellent, well done chefs. The bar was well stocked and had really polite staff, special mention to Jack, Cherry, and Jane, great service. Thanks also to Scott who arranged everything for us and all the staff at Mendip.

Great support in organising an event there. Thank you Scott and Emma. Nice touches with organising a cake for a surprise birthday treat. Really good bacon roll and coffee to kick the day off. Great team behind the bar to keep you happy. Yes i would recommend this venue for group events.

Where do I start... This establishment is where my partner chose she wanted to marry and we have not 1 regret. They catered to our every need and couldn't do enough for us leading up to the day and especially on the day itself. Emma the club house manager had everything covered and made sure all ducks were in order.

I haven’t even been yet but Emma at reception has pulled out all the stops. I’m booked in for a golf society meet, and found out that we have an early start on Sat, I rang the hotel one day before to ask if I could book an extra night. I spoke to Emma, not expecting to get an extra night due to short notice. Emma not only found me a room, but she looked through the room list for the night I had booked, and managed to get me into that room, so I don’t have to check out Sat morning to check back in Sat afternoon after the match. Emma deserves promotion, or at least a huge bonus…first class service!

Had Sunday lunch in the restaurant in a group of 10. Everything was perfect. Meal, ambience, service together with pleasant staff. The whole experience was brilliant. Would recommend this venue to everyone no matter what your eating preference.

Close to airport and great value for money. Very clean. Little extras, like toiletries are very welcome. Very easy to check in during the night. Curtains could do with being wider, so we don’t get the morning light waking us up so early. Very impressed with the room. Reception was not well sign-posted and, at 3:30am, it was a little frustrating working out exactly what building I was trying to find.

What a day, my daughters wedding, Emma you and your team were amazing, everything was flawless & so perfect. From the Thursday evening when we checked in, nothing was too much effort for you.
