The room in their Escolta block was creepy. Dark wood all around, bathroom seemed musty. I don't know if they were really trying to make you feel that you are living in an old house with old rooms. If so they surely succeeded. One horrible place i have seen though was their bathrooms and shower rooms maybe for the day...

The place is picturesque, made me proud of my Filipino heritage. Nice access to the beach and pool, good tour as well. I learned a lot. The room we got has a bath tub, the comfort room is quite large. No view though, window is made of capiz shells. But why stay in the room when there's more to see...

This place has its problems but it is worth a visit. You can opt for a day tour for $ 30.00 US or stay overnight starting at $ 175.00 US. The first thing you will encounter is the entrance road. If the idea is to give you a taste of travel 200 years ago then they did a good job....

This place makes me proud to be a Filipino as it showcases the rich culture our country has. A visit will truly take you back to the past. It's not just a place to relax and swim and take pictures at but it's also a good venue for learning. We stayed here on the first week of April. Initially, we...

Stayed here during Holy Week. We stayed in Casa Lemery which is one of the most expensive room amounting to 22k for one night and I have to say that this place is a complete disappointment. For a room that expensive, you would expect the room to have full amenities and have at least a good view and nice bathroom...

Great venue for weddings and photo shoots. Go on cooler months. Overnight stay is advisable. The place can be quite boring if traveling solo. Not advisable for senior citizens. Best for people who appreciate art, culture and history. Bring running shoes so you can jog around the compound. It's a place to visit once. It's a bit far from the...

It was worth the overnight visit except for a few glitches: 1. Registration procedure can be better streamlined. The car parking from the waiting area to a permanent area was troublesome. 2. Waiting for a jeep to service us took forever. Later we were advised we can bring our car to our building to drop off our things. We wasted...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A fine showcase of Filipino history and craftsmanship, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan takes you back to 18th-century Philippines in the twinkling of an eye. Architectural pieces of a bygone era, from different parts of the country, were reconstructed brick by brick, plank by plank. The noble-class mansions, wooden stilt houses, and a grand main building made of stone stand proudly in a village of cobblestone streets. To add up to the ambiance, a backdrop of majestic mountains, expansive rice fields, and a running river that flows to the sea, are found in the vast property. Truly a travel destination unlike any other, this resort in Bataan is a living museum of Philippine heritage. The traditional houses as hotel accommodations are the centerpiece of this Bataan beach resort about 125 km northwest of Manila. Even so, this destination resort does not lack in providing avenues for entertainment, relaxation, and recreation. It has the Napiya Spa, a swimming pool, private beach, gaming center, 3 restaurants, conference and banquet facilities, cultural shows, and heritage tours. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar takes pride in giving you a glimpse of the past, reliving the age-old yet distinctive Filipino traditions, while providing the luxuries and comforts of contemporary times. ... more   less
