Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is a very unique place. It has more than 50 ancestral/historical/period houses from all over the Philippines rebuilt in this place. The heritage tour that comes when you book the room offers a lot of information about different historical houses. It is situated along the prestine waters of the beach. It is such a huge...

The hotel claims the place is a luxurious heritage resort in the country. Luxurious place and price, yes but with a motel-like kind of service. The staff needs massive improvement in handling guests. The only thing commendable on their service is the walking tour, their only saving grace.

A day trip to this estate is not enough. If you've travelled some distance, do book a room and stay the night at least. There's much to see and admire, enough activities for those who need to be doing something/anything, and plenty of relaxation areas to bask and take in the colonial atmosphere. The hotel is well appointed, good sleep...

However, this are my observations: 1. The entrance of the resort , is a rough road, Is the intention is for the client to feel the road of the...

For local travel, we make it a point not to return to a place we've been to, but Las Casas is a GOOD EXCEPTION! First visited 3 years ago, but opted to return for Christmas vacation and the place never failed to amaze us again. PICTURESQUE - This time, we stayed at Casa Lemery by the river. The friendly front...

We had a work party at Las Casas last weekend. The place is very nice with Spanish style villas all over. The resort is right on the beach with a nice relaxing atmospere. The only thing holding it back for me is the trip to the resort. The roads aren't nice with a rocky, dirt road for the last mile....

Cannot say enough about this place! It really is a one of a kind experience. A must visit for sure. We rode the bus and was surprised that the trip getting here wasn't too bad at all, quite straightforward to and fro. There were still some renovations going on during our stay. Everywhere you look is a photo op. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A fine showcase of Filipino history and craftsmanship, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Bataan takes you back to 18th-century Philippines in the twinkling of an eye. Architectural pieces of a bygone era, from different parts of the country, were reconstructed brick by brick, plank by plank. The noble-class mansions, wooden stilt houses, and a grand main building made of stone stand proudly in a village of cobblestone streets. To add up to the ambiance, a backdrop of majestic mountains, expansive rice fields, and a running river that flows to the sea, are found in the vast property. Truly a travel destination unlike any other, this resort in Bataan is a living museum of Philippine heritage. The traditional houses as hotel accommodations are the centerpiece of this Bataan beach resort about 125 km northwest of Manila. Even so, this destination resort does not lack in providing avenues for entertainment, relaxation, and recreation. It has the Napiya Spa, a swimming pool, private beach, gaming center, 3 restaurants, conference and banquet facilities, cultural shows, and heritage tours. Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar takes pride in giving you a glimpse of the past, reliving the age-old yet distinctive Filipino traditions, while providing the luxuries and comforts of contemporary times. ... more   less
