We love this hotel and have been many times. It truly is a magical experience as every small detail has been thought off from the small bottle of fresh milk in the room to every type of toiletries supplied in the bathroom. The staff are incredible and the food is amazing. The grounds and kitchen garden are an absolute delight...

Had dinner here with a friend. Wonderful setting, gorgeous Elizabethan house, blazing log fire in the hall, cozy and welcoming ambiance and charming dining room. Lovely, friendly and efficient staff and very good food, although the main of venison, whilst flavoursome, exhibited rather chewy meat. The crab starter was subtle, fresh and delicious, the lemon posset dessert interesting, if a...

This place has the wow factor, everything from the moment you walk in, the décor, service and food were excellent for the most part. We had the set lunch here and it was beautiful, and given this is a Michelin star restaurant I think was really well priced at 33 for a three course meal. We booked lunch for one...

Lovely memories of a fantastic place for a luxurious treat. Service excellent, food delicious. Not cheap but worth the price. It did possible to visit London and also go to Glyndebourne if you go in the summer. Within easy reach of Gatwick

This place is very special, a fabulous old English manor built in the 15th century, which combines history and atmosphere with the modern touch. The bedrooms are luxurious, with bathrooms that are palatial. The current owners have done a fantastic job of renovating and restoring this building, turning it into a very special place to stay. The staff manage to...

We were in a group of 19 garden visitors that arrived late in the afternoon. Rather than have us queue up to register, we were handed keys and escorted to our rooms. That professionalism set the tone. I've read the negative comments; perhaps because we were a group we were treated better than some others. We were too busy to...

Beautiful property, well maintained and a wonderful staff. You truly feel like family here. After just a day they know your preferences and treat you as if you were the master of the manor. Location is excellent. Highly recommended for a visit to the Cotswolds.

A stunning garden for plant-lovers offsets this 1598 manor house. Rooms are spacious and comfortable in the English country style. Beds can be hard however. Staff are attentive and efficient and wiling to help. The restaurant boasts a Michelin 1 star, recently awarded. However although the set dinner was well presented the food was lacking in flavour and was rather...

Everything about Gravetye is absolutely fabulous. The long approach from the main road is wooded with valley views in parts and the gated driveway and approach give you a great introduction of what to expect. The building is beautiful. The plentiful staff are attentive without being invasive and the ambience is warm and calm. The food is out of this...

We took some friends to Gravetye to say a very special thank you. I had held meetings here many years ago in its heyday, so was interested to see what it was like now. It didn't disappoint. It is much improved with some amazing renovation and the gardens were truly stunning. We had booked 2 different level rooms. We had...
