The room was clean and spacious. The scenery is beautiful - perfect for hiking. Lots of wild animals to be seen. Great food & service at The Boma. And lots to do not too far away. Definitely recommended.

The venue is lovely and relaxing. The room needs a light above the clothing cupboard. Too dark to see clothes in corner in cupboard. The bathroom needs a table or shelf to put products on near basin or under or next to mirror. Layout of room is lovely! Beds are very comfortable. Lots of spiders on outside furniture. The outside furniture needs to be sprayed and wiped with repellent before guests arrive. Pity about the SAPPI fire next door on last day and night. Made it difficult to sleep the last night. Overall we had a great time! Boma food was delicious. We enjoyed the 5km walk on your property. Beautiful! You need more trails. Maybe include a 10km and 15km running trial and a 5km and 10km MTB Trail. Thank you for a lovely venue!

The only problem we had was that the DSTV stopped working on our last night that we were there, Other than that the stay was excellent and we had a great time. Loved the wildlife walking around so close to the guests.

Highly recommended! Our triathlon group stayed at St Ives during a sporting event at Midmar dam. It was the perfect location, rooms were more than comfortable with loads of space and the semi self catering was an added bonus. We enjoyed a team dinner at the Boma and also made use of the communal braai facilities.

We had and excellent stay at st Ives, however we were disappointed when it came down to the bathroom shower at Room 7. taking a shower was a nightmare due to the water not running consistently. The water would reduce itself after 10 seconds or so, and change between hot and cold, or not come out at all. Please see to this issue, otherwise excellent Location. We had the best time. Very Tranquil, loved the animals on site.
