Imagine a place where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast, a delectable dinner, and a relaxing soak in a spacious hot tub while a toasty fire burns in a fireplace in your room with a gentle snow falling outside your window. Then imagine a bed and breakfast tucked into the mountains, yet in close enough proximity to the most scenic...

It's hard to imagine more welcoming and engaging Innkeepers, or a more accommodating and friendly staff. We spent two nights at the Notchland Inn, and from beginning to end it was clear that everyone wanted to be sure we had an excellent time. When you throw in cheery holiday decorations, charming rooms and furnishings, fabulous food and wine, fireplaces in...

We thought the Inn was nice, but we felt the price was too high. The location was too remote for us. We would book in North Conway itself in future. We loved the dogs that live at the Inn, they were really lovely. My husband wasn't thrilled that there was no TV's, but having a fireplace was nice. We stayed...

Charming inn and charming owners! We loved the historic feel of this gracious stone house with it's grand entry and the working fireplace in our room. Everyone made us feel like old friends. Fabulous breakfasts and great advice on things to do. Perfect location to enjoy beautiful Crawford Notch.

Outstanding privately owned Inn located in the heart of NH mountains. Everything about our stay was first class and we can't wait to return. We stayed in one of their dog friendly cottages, and the suite could not possibly have been lovelier. It exceeded our expectations in every way! The romantic aspect of the cottage was lost on my 2...

It's the kind of place that makes me want to sell everything and become an innkeeper! Cozy and comfortable, we stayed in the Mad River suite. The innkeepers were gracious and helpful, the staff (Patti, in particular) was absolutely delightful. Great location for leaf peeping!

My Husband and I stayed here one winter a few years past and it was so special. The food was to die for and the rooms so comfortable, warm and inviting. It felt like we were back in time visiting a far away relative, having the best time! We are planning on returning in two months; can't wait!

We spent two nights here and thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed every minute. We had stayed here in the main inn 20 years ago when Ed and Les were first starting out. This time we stayed in the Willard Cottage rather than the main inn so we could have our dog with us. Every detail of the cottage was so well...

We stayed 3 nights in a lovely second floor room over Memorial Day weekend. We decided to eat all 3 dinners there as well and asked if the chef could provide interesting vegan meals. He did an outstanding job of providing 5 excellent courses each night surprising us with his creativity. We also had wonderful breakfasts. We came up to...

An indignant hummingbird was waiting as I tiptoed downstairs for my 6:00 AM coffee. He chattered at me, perched on the swing-arm of an empty feeder, just outside the window as I fumbled my K-cups. I don't understand why these male Ruby-Throats are so territorial: There were five other feeders full of nectar, mounted at the other windows around the...
