My visit to Komodo was relaxing thanks to Puri Sari and their staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. From reception to meals at the restaurant, housekeeping and the pool and beach -- people always greeted me with a smile and help if I needed anything. The rooms and grounds are also well kept by the staff. It made for a relaxing stay.

Let us start with the best; the staff. Smiling, helpful, positive and caring for their guests. They obviously enjoy working there and people aways make the difference. This applies to all the ones we met during our 6 days at Puri Sari, from reception to restaurant, beach, gardening, housecleaning and others.
The room was comfortable, clean with most conveniences the modern traveller needs. It could do with some upgrading but no serious flaws. Wifi in the room was a bit erratic and worked better in the reception or restaurant area.
The pool was good but since it was off season, we believe the pool bar was closed but staff was there to provide us with whatever we needed. We preferred to stay at the beach even if the sand was a bit muddy and the water hence not very clear. The staff cleans the beach every morning making it free of the plastics and garbage.
The restaurant serves basic food at reasonable costs and a good but not extravagant breakfast.
thanks to the reception for arranging our excursions and airport transfers. Well done.

We really recommend this hotel.

Good, large and beautiful rooms with air conditioning and wifi. Very friendly staff. Extensive menu at economic prices for Europeans. Definitely try the fresh mango juice. The pool is small, but is mostly too deep to stand and very hot water. This is less suitable for small children. There are sunbeds and fresh towels. You can watch the beautiful sunsets on the beach in bean bags or a lounger. The village on the harbor is too far to walk, but the hotel has a shutle bus. Ask for the hours of the shutle bus. The ride is a thick 10 minutes.

Excellent beach hotel, with a good pool. Rooms, and bathrooms, were spacious and clean with good a/c. A great restaurant serving really nice Indonesian dishes. Staff, as every in Indonesia, were helpful, friendly and very smiley. We stayed on our to, and from Komodo National Park and it was perfect

The hotel is outside of the town but has all you need Labuan Bajo is very grubby, much like a building site and there isn’t really any need to go there. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are a good size and plenty of storage with a spacious shower. The food is good, Indonesia has a limit to the foods that are imported and it a traditional style. There is a good Indonesian wine as well.
More than anything the people made it, they were all so pleasant and helpful, they work hard at keeping the garden and the hotel very clean. The beach in front of the hotel is kept clean too although either side the beaches are covered in rubbish and plastic, probably washed up from the nearby harbour in Labuan Bajo.
The other advice is to ask the hotel to organise the trips, it is chaos and very hard sell in the town but the hotel reception staff were knowledgeable and efficient. There is a free hotel car to transfer to and from the airport and the harbour for the trips.

Labuan Bajo /Komodo (Flores) is a long distance away from Lombok, which is the Island next to Bali. There should be no disruption in Flores and you don’t have to fly through Lombok to get there.
