I stayed at Torre del Tartufo in July with my sister. We weren't really sure what to expect as we had never done anything like that before. When we arrived we were indeed surprised in the fact that it is more beautiful than the pictures show. The cooking with Franco and Paolo was great fun, we learnt lots and had...

Torre del Tartufo is a beautiful villa surrounded by the beautiful nature of Tuscany. It is easy to get to by taxi from the train station in Arezzo. Most of the drivers know where it is, but bring your map just in case. The cooking lessons are great -- Chef Franco and his assistant Paula are wonderful, they gave us...

I was travelling solo at this point in my trip after dropping friends off in Lucca. The other participants were wonderful and we all got on very well together, planning and doing side trips together when we weren't involved in cooking classes or eating. I really appreciate the friendships I made during that week. The staff at Torre del Tartufo...

I went to Torre del Tartufo in August this year for the week long Italian Cooking School. The entire experience was amazing. Lena and Alex, the Villa Managers are first class and genuinely lovely people. Franco - beyond description - admired and feted by all who are lucky enough to learn from him. Chef extraordinaire. Paola, an artist of table...

We enjoyed the most amazing cooking experience at Tuscookany. The villa is beautiful, comfortable and green. The staff is outstanding in their guest services. Chef Franco not only knows how to cook but also how to make the learning process a fun experience. And the food! We have never eaten so well or so much. A light breakfast, through lunch,...

My 17 year old daughter and I went this summer to Torre del Tartufo and we had an amazing trip. The place is beautiful and the program is perfect, Franco the chef was very accommodating since both of us are vegetarian (we prepared a vegetarian version of all the food we made). If you are looking for a cooking trip...

I spent a week with Franco, Paola, Lena and Alex this August. I drove from the Florence airport with a brief stop in Arezzo for lunch and found the drive very easy. The instructions Lena sends are spot on for getting to the villa. Don't be scared of the road up to the villa. I had a Smart car and...
