We are a small family, with a 5 year old boy. We did a 10 day trip through Tasmania and Mona was our last stop. I am always looking to find something special for stay and Mona is definitely special. On their website I could not find anything about a child policy. So I rang the hotel for information. The...

Our first time in Tasmania, we spent weeks researching the perfect places to stay. In the end, after reading many reviews, we decided that we simply had to include the Mona Pavilions, and we were very much looking forward to our time here. Making the most of our stay we also booked 'Posh Pit' tickets for the Mona Roma and...

Where to even begin. The glorious modern design, delicious stocked kitchen, gorgeous Aesop bath products, B&O sound system, satiny cotton sheets, mood lighting, books galore, great views, amazing staff at every turn, fantastic restaurant and... MONA. Everybody has to get to this place once... And yes, as the grand finale, a private indoor lap pool in the Aussie bush. Amazing!!!

Not only was the apartment decked out in lush furnishings and original artwork, it delivered unobstructured views of mountains, the River Derwent and spectacular sunrises. My family of 4 stayed in the Brett pavilion in comfort. Nice surprises included the fully stocked wine fridge, generous minibar and selection of cheeses and salami awaiting consumption in the fridge. The stay had...

We stayed for three nights in the Brett Pavillion and could have happily stayed longer. The Pavillion itself is fantastic, beautifully furnished, with artworks, including one from Brett Whiteley, to enjoy. I should also mention the superb spa bath sharing the Pavillion's full views onto the Derwent - bliss for soaking in the Aesop products provided. There is a full...

Stayed in the Charles Pavilion, which was very well appointed and has a great view. We stayed on a Tuesday night so were treated to a small tour of MONA. It was a wonderful introduction to our museum visit the next day. Since MONA is closed on Tuesdays, our group of 10 were the only people there. Also, the restaurants...

The waterside setting and atmosphere at MONA is something quite unique and wonderful. The hotel forms part of a campus that includes an extraordinary museum, gardens and the Moorilla winery. The pavilions (as each cottage is called) really have the wow factor from the moment you walk through the door and look out across the bay. We stayed in Brett...

We stayed in the Sidney pavilion for 4 nights and could not have possibly had a better experience. From the second we were collected from the airport we felt as though we were special, because we were guests of MoNA. From the winery, to the restaurant, to the beer tasting, we were greeting with extra special care and consideration. When...

My partner and I stayed here in winter and loved it so much we are planning to marry here next year. More style, personality and luxury than anywhere else we've ever stayed and we've travelled a lot. The Museum is amazing, and the Roy and Edmond Pavillions were phenomenal. The design of the rooms and spaces is great and the...
