Really expensive for a hotel Other than that, it was ok. Food was...... Meh The rooms were decent as well as the service. About a mile from the town centre. Dollgethlau. Drinks bar was medium size. Ratings out of ten would be seven. P.s bathroom looks hideous.

£12.95 for a dressed up 3663 burger is ridiculously overpriced. Black beef my eye. Lovely presentation but not what I expected at that price point. Fish and chips equally overpriced for very greasy soggy cod. Mint peas a personal choice which I noticed most other folks left. Mushy peas much less Gastro but go better with Cod. No background music...

This is the second time we have stopped here for lunch on our way to North Wales and won't be our last. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful, the food is great too. We only stopped for a Coffee but ended up with two grilled steak and onion paninis with the best chips I have ever had complete with...

I had returned to N Wales on a visit with my son, primarily to visit CAT, and had booked a 'nearby' errr...excuse for a hotel (more a hostel really it transpired)...and was very pleased to find the Cross Foxes back in business (having last visited this pub in 1976 on a school trip...hence repeat business!)....anyhow the ambiance, staff and food...

Stayed here for two nights. Lovely big room with comfortable large bed, big bath and body jet shower. Breakfast was well cooked. Our room was the Cadair and we had beautiful views across the country side. It is on a junction so some road noise at night but it is easy to travel around the area. Large car park and...

Called in on our way back to our hotel, lovely setting and good food. Didn't have to wait too long, Sat outside in the sun, it was a little untidy but was the back end of tea time so to be expected. Have rated as average but would say it is probably above average, wouldn't have a problem 're-visiting!

I concede that it was very busy there and that we hadn't reserved a table but it is no excuse for such lousy treatment! I was made to wait, stood by the bar with my two daughters for nearly ten minutes waiting to know if they had a table for lunch. Many members of staff came and went behind the...

We had a lovely weekend here. The room was modern and comfortable. The food was excellent. The only black mark was that breakfast on the Monday morning was cold but it was no problem when they heated it up. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

So glad we stopped here. After a long day of sightseeing, this was just a what we needed. The hotel is lovely and the decor is to a very high standard. The food was delicious. We ordered two burgers both priced around £12 which is rather on the expensive side but very tasty. I wouldn't exactly say they were worth...
