The place is really nicely made and the rooms are relatively cheap (especially with the discount for divers). WiFi is not working very well (especially in the lodges, we had no internet access, although the wifi network itself worked). Directly at the diving center, it usually worked). Staff is uncomplicated, very nice and helpful.

Very nice and quiet location, the shop is in the core of the diving area whith speed boats ready to reach some amazing diving spots in maximum 20 min, very friendly people and delicious food! The instructors are skilled and from different countries in Europe covering a large panel of spoken languages, the local guides have an incredible knowledge of... More

I didn't stay at lumba lumba, but did dive with them on three separate occasions, and one snorkelling trip. They really encouraged me to get back into diving, guides were great and safe. I'm an OWD, hadn't dived for two years but the people at LL were highly motivating and friendly. Saw some great stuff and had a brilliant time,... More

We arrived by taxi after getting off the fast ferry from Bandah Aceh at the dive resort. As we had arrived early enough we were able to do a dive on the house reef. The dive was very enjoyable and there were lots of things to see. Over the week we did a total of 5 house reef dives and... More

I did my AOWD course with Lumba Lumba, and stayed at their Living Colors room. The diveshop is well organized, equipment well maintained and the staff is professional. My course instructor Albert was very experienced, and the theory reviews and pre dive briefings were interesting and useful. However the post-dive de-briefings/dive loggings were never held unless you went and specifically... More

I really enjoyed my stay at Lumba Lumba. It was well organised and my room (a Living Colours room on the hill) was modern, comfortable and had views over the beach from the balcony. The diving was also well organised and very good value. The staff were thoughtful and helped me to settle back into diving and could advise on... More

-90% of divers are student for their open water/adv course. If u are an advance and experience divers who are looking for a flexible dive safari, This is not the place. -The dive shop is owned by European. If u are an Asian, this is not the place. Since they will pay very little attention to you, no matter you... More

I had meant to put this review up sooner but work had had me tied down since soon after I got home. I was at Lumba Lumba for 4 months doing my Divemaster Training and I can safely say that it's is the best place I have ever been diving. Not only is the diving there spectacularly beautiful but it... We stayed at Lumba Lumba for a week, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We rented a private bungalow (the most expensive accommodation option), which I would say is well worth a little extra money for a private bathroom and hot shower - small luxuries you don't have access to in the other living arrangements. The room was spacious, with a... More

Very flexible diving centre with a very competent diving instructor (Albert). The diving was fascinating, the bungalows very nice and clean. Enough nice places to eat around the diving center and the receptionists knew were to send us to for site seeing. Albert and the diving crew were excellent in advising us on exams and Pady certificates (or not) and... More
