Good clean basic motel. We had an enormous bathroom. The staff were polite though not effusive. It was reasonably priced. The motel was conveniently located next to the Pub which was a bonus. We would have stayed longer had there been a room available.

The room was small for the $108 we paid for 1 night in Meeniyan. Perhaps I am being cheap, but I've travelled all along the coast and slept in better rooms for less in bigger places. The basics were there, but the room was musty, the bed small,tv somewhere up a cabinet and there was a lot of noise from...

We are sorry that you found the room small, however, we are not the owner of the property but merely a tenant. As such there is nothing we can do about the size of our rooms or about road traffic. A standard double room is 3.75 metres wide X 4.15 metres long, .....hardly a tiny space for a standard room....

i have often been amazed what Australian country motels serve up at $100++ per night. here is no exception. In its favour. it was clean - although my partner said the towels smelt bad. But really - besides a lick of paint outside, the carpet linen towels etc all as old as the motel (40 years at least) . the...

In response to your review. The motel is actually over 50 years old. What do you mean about a lick of paint outside? The motel building has been rendered and painted recently. If the towels were that old I am sure that they would only be rags, Carpets were replaced in all but four rooms last year (the remaining four...

The family unit at this motel was clean and quiet, with a nice layout for a family of adults. The kitchenette was a nice addition, and the lack for a stove top or toaster oven in room is atoned for by the motel's outdoor kitchen, which is available for guest use. Although there was some smell of cigarette smoke near...

Not having stayed in an Aus motel before, it would be difficult to compare. However, the bed was comfortable, the shower worked, everybody was pleasant and it was a short walk to good places to eat. We arrived mid afternoon, went and had coffee and cake at Mo's then drove down to the Prom for awalk. Came back had a...

Nice and clean little motel with friendly staff. Would stay there again and recommend to friends. Rooms are large and practical. Shower has warm water and bathroom is very clean. Town is nice, with a great pizzeria for dinner and a good bakery for breakfast.

Friendly staff at reception but when asked if breakfast was offered I was informed 'I can do it if you really want it but there are plenty of cafes in town' - I didn't push the point. Room was clean and tidy but the bed was very hard and not particularly comfortable. Have stayed in better motels in other small...

Thanks for your review. I didn't go into detail about the breakfasts as it is really based on a business decision. Meeniyan has excellent facilities for breakfast including bakery, milk bar, Moo's Restaurant, Take-aways and Meeniyan Produce Store all within a short stroll of the Motel. These facilities are one of the main reasons that Meeniyan recently won the Tourism...

Had a really great family stay over three nights for five of us in Meeniyan. Vivienne (the manager) was very helpful and courteous at all times. Shags the dog was also very friendly. Stayed in the family room which accommodates up to seven people. The accommodation was good value for money. Meeniyan is a beautiful little town with many facilities...

My wife and I stayed here while attending MotoGP at Phillip Island, which is only an hour away. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. There is a great pub next door, which serves excellent meals. Well recommended.
