Here, a variety of exotic art decorates the walls, vibrant music provides a soundtrack to further sweeten your holiday while you sip a fresh coconut. We are a unique 3* hotel that offers a total package of accommodations: a bar, restaurant (open daily, offers a wide range of local and Western food) and an aquabliss pool with cocktail poolbar. The Hotel has a nice common outside area and a really nice pool. The restaurant has much higher prices than local food. I stayed in the dorm and it was packed. The staff had a lot of problems with the taps throughout the people from our dorm. I had food and drinks on my tap I never ordered. They didn’t apologized for that but rather got a little pissed and ask me who ordered that. I was like I don’t know. That’s your job. I wasn’t there.

This place has everything you could wish for. And more... Nice rooms and atmosphere and good food and drinks. Spacious, clean and built and furnished with an eye for detail; it is really like in the pictures. And Sisi who has all the useful tips on what to do in Tofo and where to do it!

Mozambeat motel is the reason for me to go back to Tofo!I have been there many times (so I had visited Mozambeat before but not having stayed there) This is the first time though I felt like writing a review about a lodge in Mozambique .Perfect, spotless room. Affordable prices and great value of money.You can walk to the beach in 7’ or the main market of Tofo in 15’.But the most important things is that you can socialise with people or even choose to be on your own and relax, eat the delicious food and party.Ray and Sisi the owners have made a great job here.Just go go go there and you will not regret. You will just enjoy.

My stay at Mozambeat motel was great. I visited it with a couple of friends and it was amazing to say the least. The food was amazing and affordable (definitely recommend the Tom Kha Kai and lobster!). The staff was very friendly and always available for recommendations for places to go to in town.

We had a really great stay at the Mozambeat hostel! The vibe is very relaxed with chilled lounge music at the pool, great food and nice drinks. The owners are very involved and know how to host great parties as well! The town of Tofo is a relaxed surfers town with good restaurants, nice bars and lots of (water) activities. Highly recommend!!

What a magical place! After driving for 4 months trough 7 countries in Southern Africa, we could surely say this is our nr. 1 recommendation! The whole vibe is one big feel good place with chilled music, amazingly built accomodations, super friendly staff and above all fantastic owners. Besides chilling at the pool, don’t forget to try out the incredible food and tasty drinks at the restaurant;)! In short, a ‘MUST SEE’ place when in Mozambique!

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure to stay one week in Mozambeat Motel. The garden with own huts/rooms (or dorm if you prefer) is beautiful and has a stunning pool. The owners and their team are very hospitable and the vibe is relaxed. On Friday there was a nice party with locals and tourists blending perfectly! Will definitely recommend going here when thinking to visit Tofo. Miss this place already!

I took a huge risk and placed the full responsibility of my smaller sized wedding day into the hands of Sisi and Ray - the two owners of Mozambeats Motel, and there are honestly no words to describe how happy I am that I did. They thought of absolutely everything and not only nailed every detail according to what I wanted, but they went above and beyond for every single person that was there for the wedding. They were kind and loving and even joined the party later to celebrate the best day of our lives. I cannot recommend this accommodation more - and I cannot recommend this as a wedding venue more - it without a doubt, made our wedding THAT much more incredible. Tofo holds our hearts but Mozambeats holds our souls. We just loved every second!!!! Thank you guys - you are incredible!!!…

Stayed four days at Mozambeat and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation and service. Dorm beds are comfortable. Mosquito nets and fans are effective. Excellent hot and cold shower outside. Very clean. Unrestricted WiFi in the common areas. Pleasant ambience in a well maintained garden area with a pool. Very friendly staff. Wish, I had known before about this place, as I stayed one week at Pariango closer to the beach, but of a much lower standard. Fatima's as well offers much less quality. Moreover the price at Mozambeat is better, though there is no shared kitchen facility. Wake-up service at 3:45 AM worked well. The guard accompanied me to the main road and flagged down the bus to Maputo. Really excellent service. The management has the ability to put themselves in your situation (rare in Mozambique!) and help out.…

This is a lively hotel with loads going on. The music is great, especially on the weekends when they often have DJs. The people - both customers and travellers - are wonderful. You'll meet so many interesting people here. The rooms are beautiful and they always add personal touches to make you feel welcome. The food is great, especially when you get what you ordered. It's a great location which is a short walk to the local bars and restaurants and beach which is glorious. I liked... LOVED it so much I stayed 6 weeks.
